Intrductin The questinnaire presented belw has been sent t a wide range f stakehlders in all participating cuntries, in sme cases translated int natinal languages t ensure the widest pssible participatin by stakehlders. Stakehlders invlved included NGOs, lcal authrities, develpers, envirnmental agencies, lcal cmmunities, cmpeting land/sea users, academia and thers. Questinnaires have been used, tgether with the results f the discussin that tk place at the reginal wrkshps, as a basis fr checking the relevance f the key issues t be examined in the case studies and t help define the methdlgy and expected utputs. Stakehlders have been asked t: Identify the key issues relating t develpment f wind farms in their regins Identify the infrmatin they wuld find re useful t help with design and apprval f wind farms Identify the prcess issues where infrmatin and recmmendatins n gd practice wuld be beneficial Identify their favurite cmmunicatin methd Identify the characteristic f useful case study research The results f the questinnaires are presented in D2.4 (reprts f the reginal wrkshps). 2 The views expressed in this dcument are purely the authrs wn and shuld nt be attributed t the Eurpean Cmmissin

A DESIGNING THE GOOD PRACTICE TOOLKIT The GP WIND tlkit will be designed t help identify the infrmatin, experience and expertise available t assist with EIA develpment, prject design, and will prvide a suite f apprpriate mitigatin and envirnmental management measures. 1. What infrmatin wuld yu find mst useful t help with design and apprval f wind farms? (fr example, planning authrity cnsultatin, viability and feasibility validatin, cmmunity engagement etc.) 2. Which prcess issues d yu think wuld benefit mre frm infrmatin and recmmendatin? 3. It is prpsed that the Gd Practice Tlkit will use the 12 phases shwn belw t categrise best practice examples and case studies. What phases d yu feel will prvide the best pprtunity fr learning and the sharing f gd practice? Please circle yur chsen phases and add cmments in the third clumn if needed 4 The views expressed in this dcument are purely the authrs wn and shuld nt be attributed t the Eurpean Cmmissin
