1 NOIDA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY Plot 1, Sector-17 A, Yamuna Expressway, Gautam Budh Nagar, UP, India POLICY ON INTERNATIONAL ADMISSIONS Noida International University agrees in principle to admit Foreign Nationals/NRI students to the Postgraduate, Undergraduate and Ph. D. programs in different fields on full time basis to provide educational opportunities to Foreign Nationals/NRI students. The students must meet all the guidelines laid down by the University. 1.1 INTERNATIONAL CELL FOR FOREIGN NATIONALS/NRI STUDENTS : There is an "International Cell" for Foreign Nationals /NRI students (IC) set up at the University as a single window to deal with admission and guidance of Foreign Nationals /NRI students. This Cell will not only control the admission of the students but will also provide necessary guidance for securing visa, registration with FRRO & taking care of general well-being of students. 1.2 CATEGORY OF FOREIGN NATIONALS/NRI Foreign Nationals /NRI students are categorized as follows Sponsored by the Govt. of India (through ICCR), on cultural exchange program. Sponsored by the home country of the concerned Foreign Nationals/NRI students and/or funding agencies. Self-financing direct entry NRI students 2.1 QUALIFICATION The eligibility required for admission to different programs can be checked in detail from the prospectus or University website. The minimum educational qualification for admission of Foreign Nationals/NRI in various programs is same as for Indians. Only those students who have qualified from Foreign Universities or Boards of Higher Education, recognized as equivalent by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) are eligible for admission. When required, a reference will be made to AIU to check the equivalence. 3.1 ADMISSION INFORMATION Students willing to join the University for various programs will get the information about the application form, eligibility requirements, courses available and admission procedure from the prospectus or the website of the University.

2 COMPLETING THE APPLICATION FORM Students Fill in the Application Form only if they satisfy themselves about the eligibility for admission to the program. If the student has appeared in a qualifying examination and the result thereof is awaited, they can apply provisionally to go through admission process at their own risk. The student Application Form can be downloaded from or can be requested upon . The instructions in the Application Form are self-explanatory. Please follow them strictly. It is mandatory to provide your address (clearly) as it will be used by the Admission Office for any communication. Complete application form has to be sent back by mail or post to International Cell Noida International University. Foreign students / Foreign University Degree holder should attach photocopies of academic transcripts & AIU Equivalence Certificate. University / Board / Marks filled in the Application Form will be considered for all procedures related to admission. Any discrepancy found during original document verification will result in cancellation of Admission It may be noted that no request for change in the particulars filled in the Application Form by you will be entertained under any circumstances. All applications have to be accompanied with a DD of Rs. 1100/-. The same can be paid in cash also. 3.2 PROCEDURE FOR APPLYING AND SEEKING EQUIVALENCE CERTIFICATE Admission Application Form of Foreign / NRI students must have an Equivalence Certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), The students are advised to send the following documents to the Association of Indian Universities for obtaining Equivalence Certificate: Degree/Certificate together with the year-wise Academic Transcript duly authenticated by the Indian Embassy in the Country or its concerned Foreign Mission in India. Accreditation status of the University/Institute which the student has last attended. Copies of the academic Certificates from Higher Secondary onwards (where necessary) The SERVICE CHARGE for issue of Equivalence Certificate as applicable is payable through Demand Draft in favor of Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. The onus of Certification for Equivalence from AIU is on the candidate. 3.3 FEES The fee for SAARC Nationals will be same as that of Indian students. For all other foreign nationals fees will be same as Sponsored/ Foreign fees.

3 3.4 REQUIREMENT OF VISA FULL TIME PROGRAMS All the Foreign Nationals/NRI students will require a student visa endorsed to only Noida International University for joining full time programs. No other endorsement is acceptable. Students wishing to join a research program will require a research visa endorsed to Noida International University. The visa should be valid for the prescribed duration of the course or for a maximum of five years. All students staying in India longer than 6 months are required to register with the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO). The following documents are required for registration Photocopy of the passport and initial visa Four photographs of the applicant Details of residents in India HIV test report from a Registered Medical Practitioner OR a Medical Practitioner nominated by Noida International University. Bona fide certificate from the university/college/institution NO-OBJECTION Foreign Nationals/NRI students do not require to submit a No Objection Certificate for joining professional courses, however all Foreign Nationals/NRI students willing to undertake any research work or join a Ph. D. or M. Phil. programs will have to obtain prior security clearance from the Ministry of Home Affairs and the approval of Department of Secondary & Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and must be on the research visa endorsed to the university. MEDICAL TEST All Foreign Nationals/NRI students will have to undergo a medical fitness test including HIV test before taking final admission. MEDICAL INSURANCE It is advised that all Foreign Nationals/NRI students take a medical insurance policy to meet the expenses of medical treatments (which are not available in the university Health Centre) during the stay at the university. 2.4 PROFICIENCY IN ENGLISH Noida International University conducts an English Proficiency Test for all Foreign Nationals/NRI students who have been granted provisional admission to any of the programs at Noida International University. A Foreign Nationals/NRI student shall be exempted from this test provided He/she has a valid score in Proficiency Test in English like TOFEL and IELTS. 2.5 LIST OF REQUIRED DOCUMENTS 1 X / SSC Marks Sheet / 'O' Level Certificate. 2 XII / HSSC / Intermediate Marks Sheet / 'A' Level Certificate 3 Leaving / Transfer Certificate

4 4 Graduation Mark Sheets 5 Migration Certificate*. 6 Photocopy of Visa / Passport. After checking applicant eligibility criteria, we will forward the consent approval with elaborated process on students' id. After receiving the approval of the application, the applicant will receive a provisional admission letter for applying student visa. 3.1 FINAL ADMISSION After obtaining the provisional eligibility letter the following requirements have to be fulfilled Visa No objection certificate/equivalence Fees Medical test The Application Process ADMISSION PROCESS Step 1 Complete the Online Application Students may apply to various programs online through our website Following steps to be followed: 1. First select the program you would like to apply to. 2. Review all the details and requirements to understand the documents you need to submit. 3. Complete the online application form. Prospective students are requested to read the instructions very carefully before completing the online application form. 4. After proper submission of the online application form you will receive a unique application number. Please mention your unique application number in all future correspondences. An online application must be completed and submitted before sending any supporting materials to the University. This will ensure that these materials can be linked with your application as they are received. To complete the Noida International University online application, visit our website and then click the admissions tab. Step 2 Pay your Application Fee When you submit your online application, you will be asked for Rs 1100-/ nonrefundable application processing fee through the payment gateway. Alternatively, you

Step 3 Submit Transcripts Applicants must send their sealed undergraduate and graduate transcripts to the below listed officials through post or deliver personally to: 1.
