To enable the members to learn a particular skill which will help them in their social relationship and make themselves popular among their friends. B) Objectives of the Session: 1. (HKU, BU, UST, PolyU, CU) There will be one station in each university and each university has to find one or more magicians to perform a magic show (can be close-up or stage) to represent their own university. This year, the theme for the JUMT is Space. For the station in HKU, stage magic will be performed. 2. Rundown: 2.1. Content: Magic, to the average people, is mysterious, arduous and out of reach. Many of them have lost the enthusiasm in magic as they can hardly access to magic in their daily life. However, magic is everywhere: water bottles, rubber bands, books, paper clips, straw sticks, iphones, just to name a few. This workshop intends to introduce to participants various simple magic tricks with the use of everyday objects and encourage participants to explore the world of magic in their daily life in the hope that their passion in magic will be reignited. 15
