4 2 ENC (Official Electronic Navigational Charts) The ENC product is composed of exclusively official ENC, produced and approved by Official Hydrographic Offices. The data is compiled and verified by Jeppesen and distributed on a type approved SENC format, ready to be installed on an approved ECDIS. The Jeppesen SENC format is supported by the majority of the ECDIS systems. 2.1 C-MAP Chart Catalog To be able to get an accurate price for ENC you must know your route or trading area. As coverage and price are constantly changing the best tool to use is the C-MAP Chart Catalog which is always up to date. 5 3 Jeppesen PRIMAR ECDIS Service The Jeppesen PRIMAR ECDIS Service is composed of official ENCs (chapter 2), supplemented with high-quality non-enc charts produced by Jeppesen Marine (chapter 1) where ENC coverage is not available. 6 8 General Information All prices include royalties/fees to Hydrographic Offices and are single user license exclusive freight and VAT. (Ex works Hovlandsveien 52, Egersund Norway and according to Incoterms 2000). The definition of a single user is that the charts can be used on a maximum of 5 nodes of an integrated bridge system onboard a vessel. One exception to this definition is Singapore ENC charts which can be used on a maximum of 2 nodes. All subscribers can update their charts free of charge via our C-MAP Update Service. C-MAP Update Service Online includes Notice to Mariners, while C-MAP Update Service Online+ also includes a complete new database. 8.1 Subscription The subscription period is defined as the 12 month period from the date on which the first subscription is ordered and every 12 months thereafter. All charts, regardless of time of purchases, expire on the same date i.e. 12 months after the starting date of the first subscription ENC / Jeppesen PRIMAR ECDIS Service subscription alternatives As an alternative to a 12 months subscription we also offer subscriptions for 3 months and 6 months. The following price reductions are applicable: 3 months: 36% of the full price for 12 month subscription 6 months: 60% of the full price for 12 month subscription If ordered in addition to an existing 12 month subscription, these subscription alternatives will not be renewed automatically according to and 6 months subscriptions are not available for India and Singapore. 3 months subscription is not available for Malacca & Singapore Straits ENC / Jeppesen PRIMAR ECDIS Service price bands Large Cell: ENC more than 60% of a paper chart equivalent Medium Cell: ENC between 30% and 60% of a paper chart equivalent Small Cell: ENC less than 30% of a paper chart equivalent 8.2 Invoice policy on C-MAP Professional+ subscriptions Additional subscription orders Additional purchases during the subscription period are invoiced pro rata Renewal of subscription Jeppesen Norway will notify in writing, prior to the license period expiry, that the subscription is due for renewal. A renewal invoice for the next forthcoming year will be enclosed. 6

7 8.3 Invoice policy on ENC / Jeppesen PRIMAR ECDIS Service subscriptions Additional subscription orders For additional ENC purchases during the subscription period the pricing is as follows: 12 7 months before subscription expiry: Full price 100% 6 4 month before subscription expiry: 60% of full price 3 1 month before subscription expiry: 36% of full price Exceptions from this invoice policy are India and Singapore. These charts will be invoiced full price Renewal of subscription Jeppesen Norway will send a renewal reminder per approximately 4 weeks prior to the subscription expiry date. Attached to this is a C-MAP chart catalog file (.clo) showing the current ENC portfolio. The customer has the opportunity to change the ENC coverage if needed. After receiving a confirmation of renewal we will immediately issue a renewal invoice and a new license to ensure uninterrupted access to the ENC data. 8.4 Minimum order limit New subscriptions For a new subscription the order limit is 100 USD. Orders below this amount will be invoiced 100 USD Existing subscriptions For an existing subscription (additional or new orders) the order limit is 10 USD. Orders below this amount will be invoiced 10 USD in addition to the order amount. 8.5 Subscription cancellation Jeppesen Norway should be notified in writing of subscription cancellation within subscription expiry. Please refer to the current Data License Agreement and the General Terms and Conditions (chapter 8.10) 8.6 School and Academy A price reduction of 50% is available for products used for educations purposes. The single user license can be used in up to 15 systems. The special price for school and academy is not available for ENC charts for Canada, Croatia, Estonia, India, Italy, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and Ukraine. 8.7 Dispatch of goods C-MAP Professional / C-MAP Professional+ New versions of the Professional / Professional+ databases are released on a weekly basis. Jeppesen Norway will as a standard supply a new version every month using DHL worldwide parcel express (for inland customers we use Bedriftspakke). Freight charges are added to the chart license invoice. Less or more frequent updates or other mail services can be obtained upon request. 7

8 8.7.2 ENC / Jeppesen PRIMAR ECDIS Service New versions of the C-MAP ENC / Jeppesen PRIMAR ECDIS Service chart databases are released on a weekly basis. Jeppesen Norway will as standard supply a new version every week using normal mail. Freight charges are added to the chart license invoice. 8.8 Purchase A One off purchase, which allows permanent access to the data purchased, is available on one single user (single user definition of 5 nodes does not apply). Cartography updating and additional licenses / installations for the same end user will be charged 50% of the recommended retail price. 8.9 Upgrading Chart Subscription Format upgrading (from CM-93 Edition 2 to C-MAP Professional+ or from C-MAP Professional to C- MAP Professional+) is free of charge One-off Purchase Format upgrading is free of charge, but it also requires updating of cartography. Updating will be charged according to regular updating price, please refer to C-MAP OceanView software C-MAP OceanView software upgrade can, when available, be provided for 50% of the basic price Terms and Agreements Information regarding General Terms and Conditions is attached to our order forms.
