1 Press release Recent appointments at Europ Assistance Antoine Parisi has announced several appointments over the last six months to support the implementation of the Europ Assistance group's new strategy "We Connect". The following have been appointed since the start of last May: Béatrice Ogée, Chief Executive Officer France Pascal Baumgarten, Group Chief Operations Officer Yann Emilian, Group Executive VP Premium Services and CRM Business Line Samir Lahlou, Group Deputy Chief Financial Officer with responsibility for Management Control Philippe Tissandier, Program Manager Digital RSA 1 Raffaele Ripamonti, Group Purchasing Manager More recently, five further appointments have been made: Els Van de Water, Group Human Resources and Communication Officer Cédric Pauly, Program Manager Lean Management Peter Bason, Program Manager Global Travel Service Center Stéphane Vulliez-Sermet, Group Information Systems Officer Cristina Pettazzi, Strategic Marketing Officer Thursday 22 October 2015 Béatrice Ogée, Chief Executive Officer France, Member of the "Group Management committee" Béatrice Ogée has joined Europ Assistance as Chief Executive Officer of Europ Assistance France and member of the "Group Management Committee". She previously held the posts of Sales and Marketing Director and later Chief Executive Officer France and Italy and Chief Executive Officer Southern Europe at International SOS. 1 RoadSide Assistance: assistance routière

2 Béatrice Ogée has a postgraduate diploma in International Business Law. In 2005, she became an IHEE auditor and later President and subsequently Vice President of 3A IHEE. Pascal Baumgarten, Group Chief Operations Officer, Member of the "Group Management Committee" Pascal Baumgarten has been appointed as Group Chief Operations Officer (COO). He is a member of the "Group Management Committee" and reports directly to Antoine Parisi. Before joining Europ Assistance, he held the post of Associate Director at McKinsey & Company. He had responsibility for the Organisation & RH Skills Centre for France. Pascal Baumgarten is a graduate of the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC business school). He is a member of the HEC foundation's research committee and joint founder of the Cercle du Leadership. Yann Emilian, Group Executive VP for the Group Premium Services and CRM business line Yann Emilian has joined the group as Group Executive VP for the Group Premium Services and CRM business line. As part of his new duties, Yann Emilian reports directly to the Group Chief Sales and Marketing Officer Pierre Brigadeau. He previously held the post of General Manager of the premium services group John Paul. Yann Emilian is the holder of a postgraduate diploma from the EDC Business School and the ESCP Europe in General Management/Strategy in addition to Marketing. Additionally, Yann is the founding president of the "Amex club", a network of contacts for former staff of the American Express group and a member of the Cercle de la Gestion Privée. Samir Lahlou, Group Deputy Chief Financial Officer with responsibility for Management Control Samir Lahlou is joining the Europ Assistance group as Group Deputy Chief Financial Officer with responsibility for Management Control. He reports directly to the Group Chief Financial Officer Stéphane Vermersch. Before joining Europ Assistance, he had responsibility for financial control for the Global Business Lines of the Generali group in Milan. He previously held the post of Regional Financial Officer for North Europe at International SOS. Number of pages 5 Page 2

3 Samir Lahlou has a degree in corporate economics from the University of Aix-en- Provence and is a graduate of the Kedge Business School in Marseille. Philippe Tissandier - Program Manager Digital RSA In September 2015, Philippe Tissandier joined the Europ Assistance group as Program Manager Digital RSA. He reports directly to Pascal Baumgarten. In 2002, he was involved in the creation of AXA Group Solutions, a subsidiary providing shared solutions and services. He has managed the deployment of transnational platforms (property and casualty claims management, leakage control and measurement, human resources management). Later, in 2013 he joined the company handling the assessment of property and casualty claims, where he headed the Corporate Assessment and Information Systems Department. He has a Masters degree in social sciences from Paris V René Descartes Raffaele Ripamonti, Group Purchasing Director Raffaele Ripamonti was appointed as Group Purchasing Director in September He began his career in consulting, firstly with Ernst & Young Consulting and subsequently at The Technology Partners (a company of the group Bain & Company). Since 2006 he has held several positions at Europ Assistance Italy (operations and IT manager, accountancy manager and collections manager). In 2013 he was appointed as Purchasing and Network Management Officer. Raffaele Ripamonti has a Masters degree in "Computer Science and Business" from Anglia Polytechnic University Cambridge. Els Van de Water, Group Human Resources and Communication Officer, Member of the "Group Management Committee" Els Van de Water has joined Europ Assistance as Group Human Resources and Communication Officer. She is a member of the "Group Management Committee" and reports directly to Antoine Parisi. She previously held a number of positions of responsibility in the Human Resources fields at Cisco Systems, LogicaCMG & Microsoft. Number of pages 5 Page 3

4 In 2004, she founded "HRCommunity" in Italy, an international network bringing together directors specialising in the Human Resources field. She later joined Johnson & Johnson where she was HR Director for Southern Europe. Els Van de Water has a Masters degree in human resources from the ELIS / IESE Business School and a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics (Louvain Catholic University). Cédric Pauly, Program Manager Lean Management Cédric Pauly joined Europ Assistance as Program Manager Lean Management in September He reports directly to Pascal Baumgarten. He previously held positions of responsibility in the Operations field at Alcatel-Lucent and UBS, as well as with the consultancy company McKinsey & Company. Cédric Pauly has a Masters in engineering from Télécom Bretagne and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University (Kellogg School of Management). Peter Bason, Program Manager Global Travel Service Center Peter Bason joined Europ Assistance as a Program Manager in September He reports directly to Pascal Baumgarten. He previously held positions of responsibility in the operations and program management field at Siemens & Atos. He took up positions of responsibility abroad beginning in 2004: in the Philippines, in Canada, in Germany and finally in France as VP Solutions and Transformations for Atos. Peter Bason has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Miami University and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University (Kellogg School of Management). Stéphane Vulliez-Sermet, Group Information Systems Officer Stéphane Vulliez-Sermet was appointed as Group Information Systems Director in October Number of pages 5 Page 4

5 He joined Europ Assistance in 1993 in the International Department (the future Holding company) where he assumed responsibility for the group s information systems. He subsequently pursued a career in information technology consultancy with Gartner. He re-joined Europ Assistance in 2014 as IT systems manager for GCS, and later as manager of the OpEx programme. Stéphane Vulliez-Sermet is a graduate of the HEC. Cristina Pettazzi, Group Strategic Marketing Officer Cristina Pettazzi was appointed as Group Strategic Marketing Officer in October She reports directly to Pierre Brigadeau, Group Sales and Marketing Officer, Global Head of Business Lines. Cristina previously held the post of Senior Consultant in the internal strategic advisory team (GDU) of the Generali Group in Italy, with responsibility for defining the strategy for the Group s functions and units, including among others Risks, Human Relations, Innovation and Europ Assistance. She contributed to the definition of the Generali Group s strategy as a member of the Leave Your Mark strategic task force. Cristina Pettazzi has a Masters in General Management and Strategy from the ESCP Europe.
