1 Agencies Participation in the Cleveland Furniture Bank is open to all organizations that focus on serving those in need. People in need include those leaving transitional housing that serves people who have experienced homelessness, domestic abuse, or chemical dependency, victims of personal or natural catastrophes, young adults leaving the foster care system because of age, those recently released from incarceration, refugees settling in this area, and those with mental or physical challenges who have been in long term care facilities. Agencies may request an Application to Participate in the Furniture Bank by calling (216) , ext.107. The application provides CFB with the agency contact information and a responsible person, information regarding the type of clients the agency serves and the agency's ability to pay the fees required for each client. Participating agencies are responsible for verifying the needs of their clients to ensure that the Furniture Bank's resources are being used to serve those most in need. Agency case workers are also responsible for accompanying their clients when they come to select furniture.
