16 TEAM MEMBERS Dipesh Patel - CEO / Senior Asset Manager Dipesh is a graduate from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Master of Arts in International Business. At the University of Florida, Dipesh was an active leader in several organizations. Dipesh served as President for two large student organizations, including Student Government Senate. Dipesh also served on University Advisory Boards, and an active participant of the prestigious Florida Blue Key. Before establishing Conor Acquisitions, Dipesh was an Associate with Wachovia Bank, working in their Operation and Technology group. While at Wachovia, he took part in a selective Associate Leadership and Development Program and helped lead a corporate wide project to develop Greener and environmentally friendly initiatives. His primary role as a Technical Consultant was helping to support Wachovia s Sales Opportunity and Lead Development platform. After leaving Wachovia, Dipesh became active with hotel operation and analysis of his family s Hospitality portfolio. Soon he established Conor Acquisitions. 17 TEAM MEMBERS Manoj Mike Patel - Senior Acquisitions & Feasibility Analyst Manoj Patel is a graduate from Florida Atlantic University with a major in Real Estate and a focus in Finance. Currently he owns and operates National Hospitality Consulting Group which has several major divisions such as: commercial real estate brokerage, commercial lending, sourcing of private equity, note purchases, corporate bankruptcy restructuring, and other related consulting services. He has spearheaded the acquisition of numerous hotel projects under Conor Acquisitions and played a vital role in expanding revenues. He has researched and recommended the disposition of assets at substantial increased revenue, and slashed project debts, by carefully managing debt and investments. During his consulting assignments, Manoj has amassed a wealth of knowledge and banking relationship that brings a unique prospective to this partnership. Most of his assignments have been in the benefit of borrowers; however, due to his creative strategies he has earned the respect of many lenders and opposing attorneys. 18 TEAM MEMBERS Rajesh Rick Patel - CFO Rajesh Patel attended Florida Atlantic University with a focus in Accounting. Rajesh has been active in the hospitality and finance arenas for the past 15 years. He has owned and operated hotels, as well as acted in a consulting capacity on various hotel transactions. His extensive personal work with hotels and other facets of the hospitality industry has made him an asset to the industry and to those seeking advice on achieving success in the industry. Rajesh s start was as an owner and operator of several hotels, including the Ramada, Quality Inn and Sleep Inn brands. He later entered the finance industry and gained experience and knowledge in mortgage lending and underwriting. Rajesh expanded on this and ventured from residential to commercial lending. This extensive knowledge in the finance industry has been immensely beneficial to his role at Conor Acquisitions. As a partner at Conor Acquisitions, Rajesh is instrumental in the Financing division of the business. His responsibilities and expertise include monitoring the credit lending process of the organization and ensuring compliance with all applicable policies, risk assessment, and researching market trends and health. 19 TEAM MEMBERS Bhavik Patel - Investment Manager Bhavik is a graduate from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Master of Arts in International Business. Bhavik also completed graduate classes at ESADE University (Spain s highest ranked business school at the time) to gain practical experience in international business. After Graduate school, Bhavik became active with hotel operations and analysis of his family s hospitality portfolio. Soon he was recruited by Conor Acquisitions to join their Capital division. Currently he s Investment Manager Conor Acquisitions, and provides a variety of services including commercial real estate analysis. 20 TEAM MEMBERS Jonathan Won Chang - Chief Design Consultant / Senior Marketing Analyst Jonathan Won Chang is a graduate with the highest distinction from New York Institute of Technology, School of Architecture and Design with a Bachelors of Science in Architectural Technology and a minor in Construction Management. His prior education comes from Cornell University School of Architecture and Design where he focused on the fundamentals of design and construction. Mr. Chang dedicated 4 years to the internationally renowned design firm Rafael Viñoly Architects based in Lower Manhattan. Earning his position there as Project Architect he successfully oversaw and completed the construction of three landmark public sector buildings: Bronx County Hall of Justice, Brooklyn College West Quad, and the Brooklyn Children s museum. Mr. Chang eventually decided to pursue the hospitality industry where he was appointed as CEO of Four Way Hotel Corp. His involvement included the restructuring of Management, HR, and Marketing at the Best Western Plus Orlando Airport Inn & Suites increasing the asset value in excess of $2 million while cutting long term debt by $1.8 million within 3 years. During this time he gained experience in revenue management and marketing and sales at an in depth level. He was voted in as Best Western Internationals Florida CO- -OP Chairman of the board. Mr. Chang has become extremely proficient in Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Hotel operations, and holds his highest proficiency in design, development, and constructions upon joining Conor Acquisitions. His ability to understand and ascertain complex asset valuations to predict the feasibility of an asset has been accentuated and differentiated him amongst his peers. 21 TEAM MEMBERS Dr. Kiran Patel - Senior Capital Strategist Dr.Patel is a board- -certified cardiologist who is currently the Chairman and President of Freedom Health and Optimum Healthcare, Inc., Which are award- -winning health maintenance organizations providing managed care benefits to Medicare recipients. Combined, the plans serve over 60,000 seniors in the state of Florida. Dr. Patel began his career in private practice. He quickly became recognized as a pre- -eminent cardiologist and established a physician practice management company, which he grew to over 20 physicians and multiple locations. Dr. Patel subsequently entered the managed care industry and was Chairman of WellCare of Florida. While at WellCare, he acquired struggling HMOs in New York and Connecticut and helped build the company into the largest Medicaid health insurance company in Florida and fifth largest in the U.S. When Dr. Patel left WellCare in 2002, it had over $1 billion in revenue, over 450,000 members and 1,200 employees. After leaving WellCare, Dr. Patel was under a non- -compete agreement and thus became involved in healthcare informatics. He was a key investor in ikasystems, Inc., a provider of cloud computing solutions to the managed care industry. Dr. Patel oversaw a 3000% increase in revenue at ikasystems before exiting the investment in Dr. Patel completed his fellowship in Cardiology at Columbia University in He completed his residency in Internal Medicine in New Jersey after obtaining a medical degree from Gujarat University in India and completing an internship in Africa. Born in Zambia, Dr. Patel studied under the British Educational System in Zambia and received a diploma from Cambridge University in United Kingdom. 22 TEAM MEMBERS Dr. Kiran Patel - Senior Capital Strategist..conti Dr. Patel is the founder of the Dr. Kiran and Pallavi Patel Family Foundation, which supports projects related to Health, Education and the Arts around three continents. In 2005, the Foundation made a donation to University of South Florida (USF), which was (at the time) the largest donation in USF history. The Foundation also donated significant money to support the Pepin Heart Hospital Research Institute as well as the Performing Arts Center, which was renamed the Dr. Pallavi Patel Conservatory for Performing Arts. Among the honors and awards that Dr. Patel has received are: the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the Southeast U.S., Jefferson Award for Public Service- -National Media Award, Community Leader Award- - Community Development Corporation of Tampa, Lions Clubs International Academy Award for Humanitarian Service and Ike Tribble Award from National Urban League.
