4 Chief Estimator Master Resource File This file consists of our Master Resource library, including all resource rates for the selected country and currency. The resource rates include labour rates, equipment rates, material rates and the complete master list of crews and production rates. All rates are shown in the currency of your choice. The resource data file includes approximately the following number of resource rates; 1-Labour Rates 2-Equipment Rates 3-Material Rates 4-Crews & Production Rates 400 ea 1,000 ea 5,000 ea 2,500 ea The resource rates are available in both Metric and Imperial Measurement Systems. The crew makeup (number of labour & equipment) and the crew production are set based on the author s experience of bidding infrastructure projects for over 40 years The man-hour factor of each crew is a function of the crew size and the production rate (units/hour or units/day) of the crew. The Equipment Rates includes over 1,000 equipment units.
