Notify your counselor that you are thinking about the Pathway Program Attend a Pathway Information Session at your High School Obtain and fill out a Pathway application this fall Return the application to your school counselor by the deadline November 6 th! 19 Transcript Office Information *Dayna Young (703) Student Services *Office Hours: Tuesday 7:45 3:15 Thursday 7:45 2:15 Friday 7:45 3:15 (Closed Monday and Wednesday) *Official transcripts are mailed by CVHS and must be requested at least 3 weeks prior to the college/scholarship deadline *Three transcripts are free, each additional transcript request requires a fee of $5.00 and stamps for mailing *Seventh semester grades will be automatically sent in February to all colleges to which the student has applied
20 Recommendations Counselor Recommendation/Secondary School Report (SSR) * We will automatically send a Secondary School report/counselor recommendation to every school you apply to as part of the transcript packet * CVHS uses its own form no need for you to submit the recommendation/ssr forms from the college * You need to complete the senior documents in the Class of 2016 folder, located in the Document Library section of Family Connection Teacher Recommendations * Students are responsible for asking teachers for recommendations if needed * If mailing recommendation, supply an addressed and stamped envelope to teacher * Only send the exact number of recommendations that the college/application requests * Send a Thank You note to teachers who have written recommendations Recommendations must be requested at least 3 weeks prior to college deadline
