Get information about DEBUT UKA ( Ad Hoc Desk: (Room 1.821, in front of the auditorium I) This desk will deal with emergencies, such as late-coming students and other technical problems related to registration, admission, etc. Group II (NON EU): Campus Tour Volunteers will guide the new students around the campus to show them important places: such as faculties, the Kraft Student Sport Centre, the Student Counselling Centre, Tromsø Hospital (Emergency Service), etc. 15:00 Waffle & Coffee/tea Break The Student Society in Tromsø (Studentsamfunnet I Tromsø) invites all new international students and volunteers at Café Bodega for a social get-together. Volunteers will guide the students to Café Bodega. It is also an opportunity for new students to decide upon their cultural presentations. 19:00 Icebreaker Night The International Student s Union (ISU) invites all new and old students to Café Bazinga to get to know each other and make new friends. Address: Lars Thørings veg no. 10, 9006 Tromsø 14:30 Cultural Presentation (rehearsals) New students from the same country meet to rehearse their cultural sketches and presentations for the Grøtfjord trip. Venue: Studentsamfunnet/ Café Bodega 18:00 ISU Barbeque Venue: Telegrafbukta Beach on the southern tip of Tromsø Island. Monday 18 August Moderation: The Student Counselling Centre 09:30 Trip to Grøtfjord on Kvaløya Island Attention: Departure outside the Student Counselling Centre Included: Food, mountain trip, trip along the sea, volleyball, football and Cultural Presentations NB! Please bring: Warm clothes, good hiking shoes Your own food for barbeque Extra beverages and food if needed Money to pay the fisherman if you signed up for the boat trip 19:00 Departure from Grøtfjord, arrival to Tromsø City 20:00 Enjoy your studies in Tromsø!
