3 Addendum for MIB v3.3 New OIDs and Traps Since Version 3.2 Purpose and List of New OIDs Using OIDs for three-phase UPSs The OIDS in this section have been added to the PowerNet MIB since version 3.2 to support three-phase UPS models. For a description and the values for each of these OIDs, use your MIB SNMP browser. To find the OIDs to use to manage a three-phase UPS, perform the following steps: 1. Select [products] under [apc]. 2. Select [hardware]. 3. Select [ups]. 4. Select [upsphase]. This addendum documents the three groups under [upsphase]: [upsphaseresetvalues]: See Resetting the counters on page 2. [upsphaseinput]: See input feeds on page 2 and input phases on page 3. [upsphaseoutput]: See output feeds on page 3 and output phases on page 4. To access the values of OIDs in a table, select the OID table in the SNMP browser. (An OID table appears enclosed in braces {}.) For example, to access the OIDs that provide all input phases for a device, select {upsphaseinputphasetable} in the SNMP browser, and then select [upsphaseinputentry] to see each OID in the table. Continued on next page Addendum for MIB v3.3 1
4 Purpose and List of New OIDs continued Resetting the counters Use the OID in the [upsphasereset Values] group to reset the counters for the corresponding OID in the [upsphaseinput] and [upsphaseoutput] groups that report minimum and maximum values. See input phases on page 3 and output phases on page 4. upsphaseinputmaxvoltage upsphaseinputminvoltage upsphaseinputmaxcurrent upsphaseinputmincurrent upsphaseinputmaxpower upsphaseinputminpower upsphaseoutputmaxcurrent upsphaseoutputmincurrent upsphaseoutputmaxload upsphaseoutputminload upsphaseoutputmaxpercentload upsphaseoutputminpercentload upsphaseoutputmaxpower upsphaseoutputminpower upsphaseoutputmaxpercentpower upsphaseoutputminpercentpower input feeds In the [upsphaseinput] group, use these OIDs to obtain the number of input feeds to the device and information about each input feed. All of these OIDs are read-only except upsphaseinputname. upsphasenuminputs {upsphaseinputtable} {upsphaseinputentry} upsphaseinputtableindex upsphasenuminputphases upsphaseinputvoltageorientation upsphaseinputfrequency upsphaseinputtype upsphaseinputname Continued on next page Addendum for MIB v3.3 2
5 Purpose and List of New OIDs continued input phases In the [upsphaseinput] group, use these read-only OIDs to obtain the following for each input phase: The input voltage, input current, and input power now. the minimum and maximum value recorded for input voltage, input current, and input power since the corresponding counters were reset by the OIDs in the [upsphasereset Values] group. See Resetting the counters on page 2. The number of entries in the table depends on the sum of the values reported for upsphasenuminputphases on page 2. (upsphaseinputphasetable) {upsphaseinputphaseentry} upsphaseinputphasetableindex upsphaseinputphaseindex upsphaseinputvoltage upsphaseinputmaxvoltage upsphaseinputminvoltage upsphaseinputcurrent upsphaseinputmaxcurrent upsphaseinputmincurrent upsphaseinputpower upsphaseinputmaxpower upsphaseinputminpower output feeds In the [upsphaseoutput] group, use these OIDs to obtain the number of output feeds to the device and information about each output feed. All OIDs in this table are read-only except upsphaseoutputname. upsphasenumoutputs {upsphaseoutputtable} {upsphaseoutputentry} upsphaseoutputtableindex upsphasenumoutputphases upsphaseoutputvoltageorientation upsphaseoutputfrequency Continued on next page Addendum for MIB v3.3 3
6 Purpose and List of New OIDs continued output phases In the [upsphaseoutput] group, use this set of read-only OIDs to obtain the following for each output phase: The output voltage now. The output current now. The maximum and minimum output current recorded since the corresponding counters were reset by the OIDs in the [upsphasereset Values] group. See Resetting the counters on page 2. The output load and output power now. The maximum and minimum percentage of load capacity and output power capacity since the corresponding counters were reset by the OIDs in the [upsphasereset Values] group. (Capacity is measured at the present redundancy level). See Resetting the counters on page 2. The number of entries in the table depends on the sum of the values reported for upsphasenumoutputphases on page 3. upsphaseoutputphasetable upsphaseoutputphaseentry upsphaseoutputphasetableindex upsphaseoutputphaseindex upsphaseoutputvoltage upsphaseoutputcurrent upsphaseoutputmaxcurrent upsphaseoutputmincurrent upsphaseoutputload upsphaseoutputmaxload upsphaseoutputminload upsphaseoutputpercentload upsphaseoutputmaxpercentload psphaseoutputminpercentload upsphaseoutputpower upsphaseoutputmaxpower upsphaseoutputminpower upsphaseoutputpercentpower upsphaseoutputmaxpercentpower upsphaseoutputminpercentpower Addendum for MIB v3.3 4
