As a student organization we are proud to give you the opportunity to meet students within engineering, science and health. We facilitate contact so that you are able to brand your company to future employees. Since our establishment in 1989 we have strived to create better ways of facilitating contact between industry and students. This has led to solutions with an increasing number of participating companies and students. Year after year we collect information from students and companies in order to improve our three main products: DSE Fair DSE organizes two fairs annually, one at the Technical University of Denmark (near Copenhagen) during the spring and the other at Aalborg University during the fall. Both fairs have a duration of two days and last year there was a total of approximately 10,000 visitors. DSE Pejling Pejling is a reference book for engineering students with focus on companies employing engineers. It includes an abundant amount of information concerning the transition from engineering student to employed engineer. Pejling is published yearly in 10,000 copies and is available free of charge for all engineering students in Denmark. DSE Focus Night DSE Focus Night is an event where your company has the unique opportunity to present itself to interested engineering students in exactly the way your company wish to. Each evening is dedicated to one specific engineering area, thereby attracting the specific type of engineering students relevant for your company.

Participating in DSE events provide your company with the opportunity to present itself to engineering students from all over Denmark and from Lund Institute of Technology in southern Sweden. Your company can establish connections with students relevant for internships, bachelor and master theses or employment. Students also participate in DSE events for guidance concerning future career choices, educational opportunities, and to meet representatives from companies employing engineers. Partnerships For several years, DSE has cooperated with Mediehuset Ingeniøren. Pejling is a joint venture between DSE and Ingeniøren. This cooperation provides your company additional visibility and makes your participation in DSE events known to the engineering community, as well as the students, through the magazine Ingeniøren. DSE also collaborates with the student councils at the six engineering universities in Denmark. This collaboration provides additional possibilities to make your company visible and known to engineering students across the entire country. About DSE DSE is an abbreviation for De Studerendes Erhvervskontakt (Students Business Relations) and is a non-profit independent organization. DSE is run by students on a purely voluntary basis and organized into two offices, one at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and the other at Aalborg University (AAU).

6 4 DSE Fairs DSE Fair DSE organizes two annual fairs, one at the Technical University of Denmark and the other at Gigantium close to Aalborg University. This page contains general information about the fairs. Please see page 6 and 7 for information about the specific fairs. The fairs are primarily aimed at engineering students and last year approximately 10,000 students participated in the events. The fairs give you a unique opportunity to get face-to-face time with engineering students and newly graduated engineers, and thereby provide information about your company. Furthermore, it is possible to attract competent engineering students to work on projects with your company. Participation When you buy a stand at one of our fairs, the following will be included in the price A stand at the fair including electrical installations and Internet connection. A one page company profile in the fair catalog.* A one page advertisement in the fair catalog (facing your company profile).* Morning and lunch buffet available to your representatives during the fair. Beverages delivered to your stand. Two tickets to an informal event on Wednesday evening (the first fair day). * On the condition that the catalog deadlines are met.

7 DSE Fairs 5 Promotion of the fairs About 6 weeks before the fairs, corresponding fair catalogs will be distributed free of charge to all interested engineering students in Denmark. The catalogs contain information about all participating companies, tips on how to visit a fair, general information, and advertisement for PR events. Examples of PR events are job- and career conferences, concerts, and distribution of fair catalogs together with free food or beverages. Extensive advertisement through posters and the Internet will also be used. The DSE Job fair gives us an invaluable opportunity to create relationships to potential employees. 8 6 DSE Fairs DSE Fair Lyngby 13 Approximately 7,500 visitors. 3,700 m 2 floor space. Located at the main building at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). The 23 rd fair in 13. The DSE Fair Lyngby is the largest job and career fair in Denmark and it is located around the main building at DTU divided into four areas: The Oticon hall, S-huset, the main Hall and a Class 4 area (see below). The DSE Fair Aalborg is held at Gigantium which is located within walking distance from Aalborg University campus, making it a prime location for the fair. The large fair area in Gigantium ensures that all stands are well exposed to the visitors. Fair dates 9 th and 10 th of October, 13. Deadline for cancellation 3 rd of June, 13. 10 8 DSE Pejling DSE Pejling Pejling is a company handbook for engineering students made by DSE and Mediehuset Ingeniøren. It consists of a wide range of company profiles and its main purpose is to assist with the transition from engineering student to employed engineer. To achieve this, Pejling guides the reader through the job seeking process, by supplying guides and articles, and the necessary information about companies, to make a well structured CV and application. With DSE Pejling your company provides students with a description of your company and the engineers it employs.... is an essential component of a handbook meant to assist engineering students get in contact with the corporate world and apply for jobs at companies that employ engineers.... is visible year round at engineering colleges and universities all over Denmark through 10,000 printed copies and an online version of Pejling at Pejling.dk. These are promoted by several events arranged by DSE.... is profiled with many of the largest engineering companies active in Denmark. How DSE Pejling presents your company When participating in DSE Pejling, your company is profiled on two facing pages. The first page allows you to present your company mainly through text, for example, a short company description about main activities and aims. The second page is reserved for a company advertisement and is the main graphic of your company profile. Additionally, a facts box lists your company s number of employees, main focuses, relevant subject areas, company contact information and the possibilities your company provides engineering students. 12 10 DSE Focus Night DSE Focus Night In comparison to the two DSE Fairs, a DSE Focus Night focuses on a few companies dealing with specific areas of engineering, thereby giving students a better insight into the company and the possibilities within. This creates a stronger connection between the students and companies with the same professional interest. Focus Night is the DSE product that provides your company with the greatest freedom to choose the form of interaction with the students. Focus Night puts your company in the spotlight through two one-hour sessions with interested engineering students. The two one-hour sessions are meant to be informative to students. How your company decides to present itself is for you to decide, whether it is through a company presentation, workshop, or other activities. DSE Focus Night lets your company present itself to engineering students who share a common interest in your company s business areas.... provide interested students with focused knowledge that is relevant for them.... chat with students in an informal atmosphere during a standing buffet.... follow up on the impact your company had at the two DSE Fairs.

13 DSE Focus Night 11 What does a typical DSE Focus Night feature A typical Focus Night starts with a few minutes of introduction from each participating company. Afterwards students and company representatives set off to allocated rooms for the first of the one-hour sessions. After the first session, a short break is held and students have the option to replenish their energy with fruit, water and soft drinks supplied by DSE. The second session proceeds as the first, but with a different group of students. Finally, the evening concludes with a casual standing buffet, which gives students and representatives the opportunities to socialize and follow up on questions and discussions. Facts about Focus Night 3 to 5 companies participate per evening. The event is free of charge for all participating students. A Focus Night starts at 17:00 and lasts 3 4 hours. Focus Night is held at locations on campus that are a part of students daily life. Each company is given two pages in a Focus Night catalog, one for company information and one for a company advertisement. Students are informed about Focus Night through an extensive promotion campaign using posters, banners, events, Facebook, and the Focus Night catalog. 15 DSE Focus Night 13 DSE Company Presentation Aalborg 13 The DSE Company Presentation is an alternative to the Focus Night concept. The main difference being the surroundings in which the presentation is held. The presentation takes place at your company s premises and gives your company the opportunity to present itself in the way you choose. DSE handles advertisement, student registration, transportation, and we meet and welcome the students before the start of the event. Facts about DSE Company Presentation The visit will usually last for 2 3 hours. Each company is given two pages in a catalog, one for company information and one for a company advertisement. Information about time and date for company visit will be added to the company information page. DSE will gladly arrange bus transportation. This service will be charged separately. Students are informed about the presentations through an extensive promotion campaign using posters, banners, events, Facebook, and the catalog. 16 14 De Studerendes Erhvervskontakt Sponsorships Sponsorship at DSE Fair Lyngby 13 The job- and career fair in Lyngby is the largest in Denmark and is often mentioned as the best of its kind by our customers. Each year we try to improve our fair by listening to the companies and students that participate. To receive the students opinions we create a questionnaire that they can answer at the fair. In order to collect many different opinions we reward the students with a small gift. If your company is interested, it is possible for it to sponsor these gifts. As a sponsor, your logo will be branded on approximately 100 items with a value of approximately 100 DKK per unit. A sponsorship of the branded questionnaire gifts for students is 10,000 DKK excl. VAT. If your company is interested in being a sponsor, please contact our office in Lyngby. Sponsorship at DSE Fair Aalborg 13 The fair in Aalborg is held at Gigantium, which is within walking distance of Aalborg University. As a sponsor, your company decides a sponsor gift or price, the quantity, and thereby the total cost of the sponsorship. Some examples of previous prizes are: Backpacks, PC-games, flat panel TV sets and cinema gift cards. At earlier fairs, scratch cards with a high winning probability have been distributed among the students, and the prizes were handed out at the fair. In an example like this, the scratch card will show your company logo, and your company name will be exposed to a great number of students independent of their presence at the fair. Registration is done via our website salg.studerende.dk. In case of technical problems during registration, please contact one of our offices where we will be ready to answer your call. Our contact information is located at the bottom of this page. Registration for a DSE event is on a first come, first served basis. The additional terms of sale are available on the registration pages of our website. Registration for DSE events in 14 starts Wednesday 23 rd of April 14. Cancellation DSE requires all cancellations in writing. Please note that the fee for participation in a DSE event includes an administration fee of 5,000 DKK. The administration fee will not be reimbursed if participation is cancelled. If a cancellation is received after the deadline, the participation fee will not be reimbursed. Invoice DSE invoices for DSE Focus Night and DSE Fair, whereas Mediehuset Ingeniøren invoices for DSE Pejling.
