AA - Alcoholics Anonymous Services: Assists recovering alcoholics in maintaining sobriety. Meetings held at various locations and times. AA - Park City Various Locations Park City, Utah AA - Utah County North 200 West, #6 AA - Wasatch County East Center Street Heber, Utah Aamco Medical West Executive Parkway, Suite 158 Lehi, Utah Services: Wide range of home accessibility and mobility products. Free in-home service and product evaluation. Fees: Cost varies. Accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurances. AARP Union Park Center, Suite 320 Midvale, Utah Services: Driver improvement courses, voter education, and federal and state tax return assistance. Legislative volunteers monitor bills of significance for older Utahns and their families. State Office in Midvale houses a senior resource library. Fees: $16 annual membership fee. Other fees may apply. Ability First or (Summit County) 491 North 200 West Services: Provides information and referral services, peer support mentoring, individual advocacy, systems change advocacy, and life skills training. Other services include assistive technology equipment to help individuals increase their independence, and community integration services. Serves Juab, Wasatch, Sanpete and Utah Counties. Services for Summit County are provided by the Utah Independent Living Center in Salt Lake City.. All individuals seeking services must complete an intake process. Call for details. Adult Day Centers Services: Specialized supervision and activities for seniors with special needs including dementia and related disorders. Aspen Senior Center North Canyon Road Greenwood Manor North Center Lehi, Utah Morgan Senior Activity Center North 400 East Orem, Utah Rocky Mountain Care Center West 500 North Heber, Utah Sante Assisted Living South Southfield Road Heber, Utah Adult Protective Service East Center, Suite Services: Investigates abuse, neglect, and exploitation of vulnerable adults age 65+ and adults with mental or physical impairments age 18+. Alpine Homesight or (Wasatch/Summit) Services: Increases functional independence for people with low vision by augmenting activities of daily living with specialized household modifications and occupational therapy. Services include medication compliance, nutrition, and safety in the home. Fees: Services covered by Medicare.
