These courses cover topics ranging from the simplest to the most complex levels of organization. In the lab, they learn important laboratory skills that will continue using in more advanced courses like Microbiology or Genetics. My door is also always open for students seeking career advice, and I have also collaborated with different colleagues within the department in different administrative functions. I have also developed and taught one course of Medical Spanish for those students interested in increasing their knowledge of technical and medical Spanish terminology in order to further hone their skills and in order to better serve the Hispanic demographics they might serve.
