Projects information: 2.1 Investment project of galvanizing line/zinc-aluminum alloy (NOF technology galvanized steel sheet) with capacity of 120,000 tons/year at Hoa Sen Phu My Steel Sheet Plant - On June 05 th, 2012, Hoa Sen Group signed contracts to purchase galvanizing line No.02 (NOF technology galvanized steel sheet) with capacity of 120,000 tons/year. According to the plan, this line will be put into operation in March, Hoa Sen Group has already signed 8 construction contracts, 7 contracts of electric equipment, 3 mechanical contracts and 01 contract of consulting construction supervision for galvanizing line No. 02 (NOF technology galvanized steel sheet) with capacity of 120,000 tons/year. - The project was completed and liquidated 01 construction contract. The total unsettled value of 07 construction contracts is about VND 35 billions which was advanced VND 09 billions. The remaining unpaid estimated value is VND 26 billions. 2.2 Distribution retail network expansion project In 4 th quarter of fiscal year , Hoa Sen Group established 01 more branch in Bac Giang. Therefore, Hoa Sen Group s total number of branches is 108 and total number of general depots is 3. Among them, Hoa Sen Group owns land, factories, machine and equipment of almost branches. 3. Typical activities in 4 th quarter of fiscal year Honorably welcome the mission of Commission of Science, Technology and Environment of National Assembly: On August 22 nd, 2012, Hoa Sen Group was honorable to welcome the mission of Commission of Science, Technology and Environment of National Assembly. The mission consisted of Mr. Le Bo Linh - Deputy Head of Commission of Science, Technology and Environment, Mr Thuong Van Hieu - Director of Department of Science and Technology of Binh Duong Province and other members. In term of Hoa Sen Group, Mr. Tran Ngoc Chu - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directorts cum General Director and Mr. Vu Van Thanh - Deputy General Director represented for Hoa Sen Group to welcome and discussed with the mission. The Board of Management of Hoa Sen Group and the mission of Commission of Science, Technology and Environment of National Assembly took a memorial photograph. 4.2 The third Basic level Trade Union Congress of Hoa Sen Group ( ) On August 25 th, 2012, at the Hall of Hoa Sen Steel Sheet One Member Limited Liabilities Co., Ltd, the third Basic - level Trade Union Congress ( ) of Hoa Sen Group was taken place. The congress had the attendance of Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh Secretary cum Chairwoman of Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Binh Duong Province, Mr.Tran Ngoc Chu - General Director, Mr. Hoang Duc Huy - Deputy General Director, Mr. Vu Van Thanh Deputy General Director together with representatives of basic - level Trade Union of Corporation and more than 160 unionists. Mr. Tran Ngoc Chu General Director of Hoa Sen Group raised his opinions to guide and make suggestions of activities of basic level Trade Union for the third tenure to help basic level Trade Union develop more and more 4.3 Organize a sight-seeing tour to Huong Sen Tue Uyen Resort for Hoa Sen Group s employees From April, 2012 to now, Hoa Sen Group organized sight-seeing tours to Huong Sen Tue Uyen Resort (2 days and 1 night) for Hoa Sen Group s employees in order to motivate, encourage them, create healthy entertainment atmosphere and tighten solidarity between employees of the Corporation. 6 4.4 Grant scholarships for children of Spratly Islands officers and soldiers In the evening on August 30 th, 2012, at the 125 Brigade - the Cat Lai Port, Cat Lai Ward, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City, a meeting with the leadership of Ho Chi Minh City to grant scholarships for children of navy soldiers of Spratly Islands was taken place. The meeting had the attendance of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Quyet Tam Delegate of National Assembly of XIII term cum Deputy Secretary of Municipal People s Committee cum Chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh City People s Council and the guests, delegates and navy soldiers of Spratly Islands. About Hoa Sen Group, the meeting had the attendance of Mr. Vu Van Thanh Deputy General Director who is represented for the sponsor of scholarships for children of navy soldiers of Spratly Islands. Mr. Vu Van Thanh (the first person from the right) Deputy General Director of Hoa Sen Group granted 15 scholarships for children of navy soldiers of Spratly Islands. 4.5 Respond to For beloved pupils of Spratly Islands program For beloved pupils of Spratly Islands art program which was held by Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and Ho Chi Minh City Law Newspaper was live broadcasted at 7.45 PM on September 21 st, 2012 on Ho Chi Minh City television channels, VTC digital television channel and other local television channels. The program aimed to raise funds to build schools on the Big Spratly Island. The program had the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Van Dong Director of Northern Regional Development of Hoa Sen Group. National Football Cup Tournament Hoa Sen Plastic 2012 ended with the championship for Saigon Xuan Thanh team. This is the 3 rd consecutive year that Hoa Sen Group honorably sponsored for these two football tournaments.
