1 TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE PROMOTION NEW YEAR OFFERS WITH HSBC PREMIER MASTERCARD 1. The Promotion of NEW YEAR OFFERS WITH HSBC PREMIER MASTERCARD ( Campaign ) is applicable in all transaction outlets registered by HSBC Bank (Vietnam) Ltd. ( HSBC ) in Vietnam. 2. Eligible products during the Campaign Period: HSBC Premier World MasterCard Credit Cards issued by HSBC in Vietnam ( Cards or HSBC Premier Credit Cards ). Credit Cards which are not eligible to participate in this campaign include: HSBC Visa Platinum / Gold / Classic Credit Cards HSBC Business Credit Cards HSBC Staff Credit Cards 3. Promotion Period: From 7 December 2015 to 31 January 2016, both days inclusive. 4. Promotion Details: a. Rewards: a.1. a.2. The five (05) primary HSBC Premier World MasterCard Credit cardholders who have the highest eligible total spend amount during each week of the Promotion Period ( Week ) will each receive one (01) leisure voucher, valued at VND 9,270,000, for 3 day 2 night stay at Vinpearl resort network ( Voucher ). The next five (05) primary HSBC Premier World MasterCard Credit cardholders who have the next highest eligible total spend amount during each Week will each receive two (02) invitations for two (valued at VND 1,500,000 in total) to attend the British Contemporay Dance show to be held on 23 March 2016 in Hanoi or on 26 March 2016 in Hochiminh city tentatively ( Invitations ). b. The time frame of a Week is defined from Monday to Sunday (Vietnam time GMT+7 and based on HSBC s system). Week Time frame Week 1 From Monday 7 December 2015 to Sunday 13 December 2015 Week 2 From Monday 14 December 2015 to Sunday 20 December 2015 Week 3 From Monday 21 December 2015 to Sunday 27 December 2015 Week 4 From Monday 28 December 2015 to Sunday 3 January 2016 Week 5 From Monday 4 January 2016 to Sunday 10 January 2016 Week 6 From Monday 11 January 2016 to Sunday 17 January 2016 Week 7 From Monday 18 January 2016 to Sunday 24 January 2016 Week 8 From Monday 25 January 2016 to Sunday 31 January 2016 Issued by HSBC Bank (Vietnam) Ltd. 2 c. Eligible total spend of each Week of a Cardholder is calculated by summing his/her transaction value amounts of eligible purchase transactions of that Week. HSBC will base the information of transaction date and post date as recorded by HSBC s system and shown on credit card statements of cardholders ( Transaction Date and Post Date respectively). An eligible purchase transaction of each Week must have the Transaction Date within the time frame of that Week and have the Post Date no later than 7 February d. Transactions that have been completed during the Promotion Period but not recorded by HSBC s system by 7 February 2016 will not be eligible irrespective of whether cardholders receive the SMS notification messages about the transaction completion or not. e. Eligible purchase transactions do not include credit card activation and cash advance transactions, including, but not limited to, cash advance transactions at counters, ATMs or POS and other cash advance transactions, HSBC fee-related transactions and monthly instalment repayments, and gambling-related transactions. f. Any disputed, cancelled and/or reversed transaction amount which is recorded in the cardholder s credit card statement during the Promotion period will be deducted from the total eligible spend. g. Eligible transactions must be made by primary cardholders and supplementary cardholders (if any) and must be authentic for personal purposes and allowed by Vietnamese Law. h. Any transaction deemed to be suspicious or ineligible based on transaction time, location or other factors will be deducted from the total eligible purchase amount. HSBC reserves the right to request customers to provide the financial invoice and supporting documents / information to prove that the transaction is eligible. In case the customer does not or fails to prove that the transaction is eligible, HSBC reserves the right to deduct his/her transactions from the value of eligible purchase transactions during the Promotion Period. i. There are 40 Vinpearl resort vouchers and 80 Invitations in total to reward HSBC Premier World MasterCard top spenders during the Promotion Period. Each winner can receive one Vinpearl voucher or two Invitations only during the Promotion Period irrespective of the fact that he/she may be one of the top spenders of different Weeks. j. If after a winner receives his/her Reward and his/her eligible purchase transactions are cancelled or reversed, HSBC reserves the right to deduct the value of the Reward from the Primary Cardholder s credit card account. k. If there are more than one cardholder with equal highest spend on their credit cards, the winner will be determined by the card where the highest eligible total spend amount is reached first as recorded by HSBC systems. l. A credit cardholder will be disqualified if he/she performs or is subject to the following at the time of the Promotion result announcement: Submits a card cancellation request or has cancelled his/her credit card; or Are late paying any bank fees, or do not pay the minimum payment due as shown on their statements; or Are delinquent on any of their products with HSBC. 5. Other Terms: a. Cardholders may check their purchase transaction status via Internet Banking or calling HSBC Premier Contact Centre (84 8) Issued by HSBC Bank (Vietnam) Ltd. PUBLIC - 2

The winners details and the final timing of the British Contemporary Dance show will be announced on HSBC s public website no later than 29 February If customers have questions relating to the process or results of the promotion, they must inform HSBC within 7 days of the results being published on HSBC s website. c. HSBC will notify the winners via phone / / post (as registered with HSBC) with instructions to collect the Rewards. HSBC accepts no liability for undelivered notices due to an incorrect phone number / address / correspondent address provided by the customers, or if is not received or illegible, or if mail is lost or damaged. d. Time and place to receive the Rewards: The winners will receive the Rewards no later than 15 March 2016 at one of the following HSBC Premier Centers: Ho Chi Minh City Branch: Ground Floor, The Metropolitan Building, 235 Dong Khoi Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Hanoi Branch: Ground Floor, The Pacific Place, 83B Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi. e. After 15 March 2016, winners who reject or have not collected their Rewards will forfeit their prizes. f. Winners are required to present their original Identification Card or Passport and their Credit Card for verification by HSBC. If the winner authorises another person to collect their prize, the authorised person must present the original copy of his/her identification card or passport, the certified copy of the winner s identification/passport and an authorisation letter certified by the local authority. g. The Vouchers and Invitations offered are transferable but cannot be replaced with any other products or exchanged for cash. h. The values of Vouchers and Invitations are VAT-included. i. The validity period of each Voucher is 06 months from the issuance date. j. The Vouchers can be redeemed for a 3 day 2 night stay at the following Vinpearl resorts: Vinpearl Nha Trang Resort Vinpearl Nha Trang Bay Resort & Villas Vinpearl Golfland Resort & Villas (Nha Trang city) Vinpearl Phu Quoc Resort Vinpearl Phu Quoc Resort & Villas Vinpearl Ha Long Bay Resort (Quang Ninh province). 6. Further information and queries a. Customers can visit HSBC Premier website at for further details of the Promotion, or contact HSBC Premier Contact Center (84 8) b. HSBC is responsible for announcing the Terms and Conditions of this Promotion and the information of the winners (including full name, the last four digits of their primary credit card) at HSBC s public website ( without prior notice or customer consent. 7. General Terms a. Winners will bear all costs incurred from the receipt of the Rewards (if any). b. By participating in this Promotion, customers accept that HSBC reserves the right to publish or display the name and picture of the customers in announcements and advertisements in newspapers and other media without paying any fees to the customer. 4 c. HSBC is not the supplier of the service used as prize in the Promotion. Therefore, after collecting their Vinpearl vouchers, winners must contact the supplier of the service directly if they have any inquiries or problems related to the service and the use of the vouchers. HSBC is not responsible for responding to inquiries and problems. d. In case of the British Contemporary Dance show is cancelled for objective reasons, the Invitation winner will each receive cash award with the same value of the two Invitations and HSBC will credit this amount to the winners credit card accounts. e. The decisions of HSBC on all matters relating to the Promotion including the result of winners are final, conclusive and binding. f. Standard Terms and Conditions and eligibility requirements of Credit Card in accordance with HSBC s policy shall be applied in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions of this Campaign. g. HSBC reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time after completing necessary procedures as required by law. h. These Terms & Conditions are made in both English and Vietnamese. 5 TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE HSBC CREDIT CARD PROMOTION PROGRAMME Lunar New Year campaign 1. HSBC s Credit Card Promotion Campaign Lunar New Year ( Campaign ) is applicable in all transaction offices/branches and other channels registered by HSBC Bank (Vietnam) Ltd. ( HSBC ) in Vietnam. 2. Credit Cards which are not eligible to participate in this campaign: HSBC Business Credit Card HSBC Staff Credit Card 3. Application Period: from 15 December 2015 to 05 February 2016, both days inclusive. 4. Campaign Details: 4.1. Offer for new earliest Credit Card applications. Travel bags for the first 2,000 eligible applicants who submit a valid HSBC credit card application a. Applicable for HSBC Visa Platinum / Visa Gold / Visa Classic Credit Cards from 15/12/ /02/2016 b. The gift cannot be replaced with any other products or exchanged for cash. c. Applications must be submitted to a Personal Banker of HSBC 4.2. Offers for new credit card applications: a. Submission date to join the promotion: 15/12/ /02/2016 b. Primary HSBC Visa Gold/Visa Classic Credit Cards: Eligible Primary Cardholders will receive VND 1,000,000 cash back if (1) the credit card application is submitted and approved by HSBC no later than 19/02/2016, and (2) have a minimum spend on their Primary/Supplementary credit card of at least VND 1,000,000 within 30 days of the card issuance date and posted no later than 31/03/2016. c. Primary HSBC Visa Platinum Credit Cards: Eligible Primary Cardholders will receive VND 1,500,000 cash back if (1) the credit card application is submitted and approved by HSBC no later than 19/02/2016, and (2) have a minimum spend on their Primary/Supplementary credit card of at least VND 1,500,000 within 30 days of the card issuance date and posted no later than 31/03/2016. d. Primary HSBC Premier World MasterCard Credit Cards: Eligible Cardholders will receive VND 2,000,000 cash back if (1) the credit card application is submitted and approved by Issued by HSBC Bank (Vietnam) Ltd. 6 HSBC no later than 19/02/2016, and (2) have a minimum spend on their Primary credit card of at least VND 2,000,000 within 30 days of the card issuance date and posted no later than 31/03/2016 e. Supplementary HSBC Premier World MasterCard Credit Cards: Eligible Cardholders will receive VND 1,000,000 cash back if (1) the credit card application is submitted and approved by HSBC no later than 19/02/2016, and (2) have a minimum spend on their individual Supplementary credit card of at least VND 1,000,000 within 30 days of the card issuance date and posted no later than 31/03/2016. Each eligible Primary cardholder will be awarded cash back for only one qualified supplementary card irrespective of how many supplementary cards he/she has that meet the total eligible spend. f. Each eligible cardholder will only receive (1) one cash-back for transactions made during the campaign period g. HSBC will award cash back no later than 15/04/2016. h. Eligible purchase transactions do not include credit card activation and cash advance transactions (including but not limited to cash advance transactions at counters, ATMs or POS and other cash advance transactions), HSBC fee-related transactions by credit and monthly instalment repayment and gambling-related transactions. i. HSBC reserves the right to reject any Application Form that is illegible, unclear, incomplete and/or not accompanied by supporting documents. j. Standard Terms and Conditions regarding Agreements and Eligibility Requirements for HSBC Credit Cards in accordance with HSBC s policy shall be applied. k. Credit Cardholders who refuse the cashback, submit a cancellation request or cancel their credit cards before or on the cash back delivery date will be disqualified. Credit cardholders who are late paying any bank fees, do not pay the minimum payment due as shown on their statements or are delinquent on any of their products with HSBC at the time of the Promotion result announcement will be disqualified Offers for using your credit card a. Offer Period: 15/12/ /02/2016, both days inclusive. b. This offer applies to Primary Cardholders with HSBC Visa Platinum / Visa Gold / Visa Classic Credit Cards issued by HSBC Vietnam. c. Promotion Offers: Total of 8 Japanese Cherry Blossom package tours (a voucher of 5 days 4 nights for 2 persons) applicable for Platinum Credit card, and 16 iphone 6S applicable for Classic/Gold credit card. o Each week apply a Japan package tour for the first Platinum credit cardholder who reach total spending value of 15 million VND earliest and Issued by HSBC Bank (Vietnam) Ltd. 7 o 2 iphone 6S for first 2 Classic/Gold credit cardholders who reach total spending value of 10 million VND earliest o If there are more than one cardholder who reach same eligible condition spend on their credit cards, the winner will be determined by the card where the total spending is highest during that week. o A week is defined from Monday to Sunday (Vietnam standard time GMT +7 on HSBC Vietnam system) Week 1 From 15/12/ to 20/12/2015 Week 2 From 21/12/ to 27/12/2015 Week 3 From 28/12/ to 03/01/2016 Week 4 From 04/01/ to 10/01/2016 Week 5 From 11/01/ to 17/01/2016 Week 6 From 18/01/ to 24/01/2016 Week 7 From 25/01/ to 31/01/2016 Week 8 From 01/02/ to 07/02/2016 d. If after a qualified Cardholder receives their reward, and their eligible purchase transactions are cancelled or reversed, HSBC reserves the right to deduct the value of the reward from the Primary Cardholder s Credit Card account. f. Time and place to receive the reward: Qualified cardholders must visit HSBC to receive their rewards from 01/03/2016. Qualified cardholders are required to present the original copy of their Identification Card or Passport and their Credit Card for verification by The Bank at one of the following HSBC outlets: Ho Chi Minh City Branch: Ground Floor, The Metropolitan Building, 235 Dong Khoi Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Hanoi Branch: Ground Floor, The Pacific Place, 83B Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi City. g. Qualified cardholders that reject or have not collected their rewards by 31/03/2016 will forfeit their prizes. h. HSBC accepts no liability for undelivered notices due to errors in contact s, addresses and/or phone numbers provided by Cardholders and/or notification letters being lost, stolen or damaged during the delivery i. The reward offered cannot be replaced with any other products or exchanged for cash. j. If the qualified cardholder authorises another person to collect their prize, the authorised person must present the original copy of his/her identification card or passport, the certified copy of the qualified cardholder s identification/passport and an authorisation letter certified by the local authority. k. Credit cardholders who are late paying any bank fees, do not pay the minimum payment due as shown on their statements or are delinquent on any of their products with HSBC at the time of the Promotion result announcement will be disqualified. 5. HSBC is responsible for announcing the Terms and Conditions of this Promotion and the information of the qualified cardholders (including full name, the last four digits of their primary credit card and the last four digits of their identification card/passport registered with HSBC) at HSBC s public website ( without prior notice or customer consent. 6. General terms a. Qualified cardholders will bear all costs incurred from the receipt of the promotion prize (if any). b. With the qualified cardholders consent, the Bank will pay the ad hoc Personal Income Tax for the prize value on behalf of each qualified cardholder as stipulated by law; customers are not required to reimburse this tax amount to HSBC. c. By participating in this promotion, customers accept that HSBC reserves the right to publish or display the name and picture of the customers in announcements and advertisements in newspapers and other media without paying any fees to the customer. d. HSBC is responsible for the accuracy of the documents and supporting documents proving that the prizes have been delivered. HSBC is not the supplier of the items used as Prizes in the Promotion Campaign. Therefore, after collecting their prize(s), qualified cardholders must contact the supplier of the items directly if they have any inquiries or problems related to the use of the items. HSBC is not responsible for responding to inquiries and problems. e. The decisions of HSBC on all matters relating to Promotions, including the result of qualified cardholders are final, conclusive and binding. f. These Terms & Conditions are subject to change at any time. In case of any dispute arising from the Campaign, HSBC s decision shall be final, unless otherwise stated by law. g.
