Students will also understand the importance of ethics, values, and professionalism, both in their personal lives and in their role as law enforcement officers. This course prepares students to understand what sexual harassment is, how to recognize inappropriate behavior in the workplace, what an officer s required response to sexual harassment must be, and what the consequences are for this inappropriate behavior. The Curriculum Development staff is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, evaluation, and revision of job-related curricula for the commission-approved basic recruit, advanced, specialized, and specialized instructor training programs for law enforcement, correctional, and correctional probation officers.
