12 30 Days All decisions regarding a student s participation in an alternate assessment or provided accommodations must be made and documented in the student s IEP at least thirty (30) calendar days before the testing window opens. If a student does not have at least thirty (30) calendar days before the test date to use the accommodation, then its use cannot be considered routinely used during instruction or similar classroom assessments and should not be used during testing.
