The course acquire the student the necessary skills concerning the methods and techniques of water remediation and assessing the health impact of water pollution. 3- Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs): A- Knowledge and understandings: B- Intellectual C- Professional Students will be able to A- Acquire the different methods, bases and theories appropriate to the water pollution and remediation. A- Understand the application of the information obtained from the other basic and applied sciences in solving water pollution problems. At the end of the course, the students will be able to: B- Integrate the information, the experimental and field hydrogeologic methods in solving water pollution problems and its related environmental hazards. B3- Set-up discussions concerning the pollution problems, concerning research plans, work-steps and give value to the other arguments. B- Organize the suitable work methods and time-plan to carry out field hydrogeological studies in a risky area. This course helps the student to be able to:- C- Design and undertake professional hydrogeochemical experimental analyses and field studies to assess the given water pollution problems. C- Report and criticize the scientific and applied hydrogeological, water pollution vulnerability maps, sections and documents concerning the problem and its solution.
