Windows Phone has difficulties justifying its ambitions, with a shy 3.4% share. Series 40 maintains its 2nd rank, achieving a shrinking share of 12.37%. ios has a 10.71% share, while Samsung's and Symbian OS' shares are below 5%. 15 Mobile Application Usage Statistics Users spend 2 hours and 42 minutes per day on mobile devices as of March Mobile app usage accounts for 2 hours and 19 minutes of that time spent. Time spent in native apps, 2 hours and 19 minutes in 2014 is up 12 minutes per day (or 9.5%) from last year.
