1 Student Quick Guide to MMU Online Graduation booking system 2015 This service is available to eligible MMU students and enables you to register your availability to attend graduation ceremonies in This service will be available until 13 th July The system will take you through four simple steps taking up to five minutes. If you wish to order gown and/or photographs then you will be able to use the online services provided by Ede and Ravenscroft.

3 Accessing MMU Graduation booking system You can access the MMU graduation booking system by: Clicking on the link on the MMU graduation page This will take you to the MMU Graduation Online booking home page. Click on the login here link. All of the graduation booking pages have the same layout and important information and contacts are available on the left hand side of the page. You are advised to look through this information to help complete your booking. Please avoid booking your tickets via a mobile device or ipad, we have identified that use of these devices can lead to a problem with the payment process. 4 Login In order to access the MMU graduation booking system you will need to login using your MMU Network ID and password. Click in MMU ID Type in MMU Network ID Click in Password Type in MMU password Click on Log In If this does not work your MMU Network account may have expired. Please try using your date of birth in the format ddmmyy, instead of your normal password Error message If at any time you should encounter a page expired warning press F5 on the keyboard, this will refresh the page and enable you to click on retry and return to the page you were trying to view. 5 Step 1 of 4: My details Check your name is displayed correctly. This will be how it appears on your certificate and you will not be able to change it after you have graduated. If your name is incorrect please indicate this. Enter the correct name and the reason for the change in the spaces provided. Please note you will be required to provide the appropriate documentation on request. Before making any changes, please click on Certificates and read this information. Check the following: Current contact details Current Correspondence address details Amend any incorrect details in the space provided. Changes will not be made until you have completed the registration process so don t worry if you still see the incorrect name on later screens. Consent to Share Personal Data Potential employers, employment agencies and educational organisations regularly ask the University to verify our graduates qualifications. If you provide your permission now, each time we get a request we can send them a standard form with your name, date of birth, attendance dates, award title and any classification. 6 Step 2 of 4: Registration Ceremony Details The date and time of your ceremony is displayed Confirmation of Attendance Please indicate if you wish to attend your ceremony. Booking and Guest Tickets Use the drop-down menu to select how many guest tickets you require Only two guest tickets per person can be guaranteed. Extra tickets may be available at a later date. If you want any more please refer to from 4th June. Student Contact Details If you would like your ticket sending to a different address to the one shown on-screen, please enter it in the space provided Special Assistance at Your Ceremony Use the space provided to let us know about any special assistance you may require on the day of your ceremony. Certificate You now need to indicate if you would like your certificate posted to you or you would prefer to collect it from All Saints campus. If you indicated in Step 1 that you had already received your certificate this section will not appear. Click Proceed to continue. MMU Graduation booking system 12 V1 Page 6 of 9

7 Step 3 of 4: Confirmation Once your details have been submitted an attendance confirmation will be displayed. If you have told us that you are attending your ceremony the date and time of your ceremony will be displayed together with other important information. If you have told us that you are not attending, this screen will confirm your choice. If you want to change your mind about attending your ceremony you can do this now by clicking back at the bottom of the screen. Gown Hire and Photography You can use the link provided to book gown hire and/or photographs, this will open a separate window. This link is also available on Proceed to Payment If you have requested guest tickets you now need to pay for them by clicking the Access Pay Online Here icon. If you do not have your payment details to hand, you can log out and come back within 7 days to make a payment. After this deadline we cannot guarantee your tickets. 8 Step 4 of 4: Paying for Your Tickets After clicking Pay Online Here, a new window will open. Click Continue and enter your card details as requested. If the payment process fails and you want to try again see Logging back in on the next page Make sure that pop-ups are not being blocked by your browser Once your payment is complete click back on the original booking system window. This should now show confirmation of your payment. If it is still showing payment in progress then please studentservices@mmu.ac.uk, putting Payment Problem in the subject line of your message. Remember to click on logout at the bottom of the screen to log you out of MMU Graduation Online booking. On completion of booking it is recommended that you ensure all browser windows are closed. Confirmation s You will receive a brief confirmation shortly after making a successful payment. You should receive a more detailed , which includes your ceremony details, within 1 working day. This will be sent to both your MMU student and personal addresses. MMU Graduation booking system 12 V1 Page 8 of 9

9 Logging Back In Two Tickets Already Purchased If you have already paid for 2 guaranteed tickets then, until 4 th June, you will see a message telling you to come back later. From 4 th June onwards you will see a screen that allows you to request extra tickets No Tickets Purchased If you have not yet paid for your two guaranteed tickets you will see a screen that shows your ceremony details and gives you the opportunity to change the number of tickets you have requested. Select the number of guest tickets you want from the drop down menu and click Proceed If you have already paid for 1 ticket you will only be allowed to purchase 1 further ticket at this stage. You will then see a confirmation screen. Check that these details are correct and, if applicable, click the Access Pay Online Here icon. See Step 4: Paying for Your Tickets for help with the payment process. If you want to change the number of tickets requested you need to log out and log back in again.
