10 Large-scale demonstrations (simulating) immigration and criminal activities. They integrated the NCCs network aspects. Based on the results, Perseus suggested technical recommendations for a possible future European integrated maritime border control system. A community of users, of different nature, evaluated the system and validate that it complies with their requirements. 10

Fight crime, illegal trafficking and terrorism, including understanding and tackling terrorist ideas and beliefs 2. Crisis management and Civil Protection Strengthen prevention and preparedness against natural and man-made disasters by underpinning an all-hazard approach to risk assessment across the EU; (3 topics: 1,3,6) 2. Disaster Resilience & Climate Change Develop solutions, for climate change adaptation in areas potentially affected by more extreme weather events and natural disasters, such as for port cities, critical infrastructures, tourism 3. Critical Infrastructure Protection (3 topics 9,10,11) Build up community resilience and resilience of critical infrastructure, including against cybercrime and cyber-terrorism (4 topics 12, 13, 14, 15) 4. Communication interoperability Facilitate disaster management, notably through communication technologies for crisis response actors and the linking of situational awareness centres; (1 topic - 18) 5.
