Cover EU production and potential imports from outside the EU but good data from outside the EU is often very hard to find The bioeconomy is partly circular, so purely linear input/output models are not sufficient. 8 Bioeconomy Strategy And Action Plan In the framework of Europe 2020, the Strategy "Innovating for Sustainable Growth: a Bioeconomy For Europe" promotes sustainable production of renewable resources from land and sea and their conversion into food, bio-based products, biofuels and bioenergy.
