2 Now is your chance to be a part of an exciting event being held for the first time at the newly expanded Peterborough Airport by Global Angel Charitable Org., a locally founded registered charity. Estimated attendance is 3000 people of all ages. We also welcome the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association members as they are holding their Annual General Meeting at the Airport the same weekend; so there will be many aviation enthusiasts and aircraft owners also on site. What Does the Charity Do? Since 2007, we have assisted more than 500 families who were suddenly confronted by an illness or injury that required treatment away from their community, or return home by medical flight, or ground ambulance from a distant hospital and even requesting a special last wish. We are the only registered charity in Canada that supports the facilitation of medical transportation of persons who require care during travel due to the complex nature of their illness. Global Angel Charitable Organization does not restrict support to those in need by territorial boundaries or age. Some families we have supported with facilitation of fundraising, securing the donation of an air ambulance or aircraft, negotiation for a more affordable cost with suppliers, coordinating every detail of the medical transport, and either subsidizing or covering the cost of air flights or a land ambulance. As there are few administrative costs, all of the funds we raise go directly to provide assistance to those requiring our HELP. 3 Interested in being an exhibitor or a vendor at our Pulling for Patients Challenge and Fun Day? Our event will attract aviation, emergency services, healthcare, government and community personnel, businesses, volunteers and families both locally and afar. We are planning for 3000 attendees on Saturday June 21, It s an opportunity to link your company with Global Angel Charitable Organization and capture the attention of our community, visitors, and the Canadian Owners & Pilots Assoc. members attending their AGM all on the same day at the Peterborough Airport. Overview of Events Plane Pull Challenge begins at 10:00 AM The plane pull is a fun 10 person team event challenging other teams to see how fast each can pull a Bombardier CRJ 200 jet aircraft that weighs approximately 40,000 lbs. After a warm up, each team takes their turn to pull the aircraft a distance of 12 feet in the shortest time. We estimate 25 teams will register for the event, prizes and trophies will be awarded to the teams with the fastest pull and the teams that raised the most money. Fly In Breakfast Come and join us for great fellowship, good food - and of course - see lots of airplanes. We start serving breakfast at approximately 08:00 AM until 10:30 AM. Exhibits and Displays From Emergency services, rescue and border protection, aircraft, motorcycles to showcasing of businesses and services at the airport, this is a unique opportunity to learn about the professional services and our own locally based airport businesses. Vendors A variety of both food and local vendors will be on site. Our VIP Reception at the OFAH, Mario Cortellucci Hunting and Fishing Heritage Centre The evening s festivities will commence at 6 PM with refreshments and appetizers. An introduction to our special guests, an opportunity for attendees to learn more about GACO and its global mission will take place in the state-of-the-art, high definition amphitheater. The guests will mingle and wander among a large collection of Canadian wildlife on display, an impressive antique lure and decoy exhibit, and the chance to see Ontario s warm water fish, live in the giant Shimano Aquarium. There will also be l be raffles, draw prizes, a silent auction and live music. Space is very limited.

4 Exhibitor/Vendor Information & Registration HOURS OF OPERATION Saturday June 21st 10:00 AM - 18:00 PM. Plane Pull and Fun Peterborough Airport and Saturday June 21st 17:30 PM 20:00 PM VIP OFAH Heritage Centre MOVE IN - MOVE OUT (Peterborough Airport) Move In - Saturday June 21 7:00AM 09:00AM. Move Out Saturday June 21 18:00PM 20:00PM. If additional move in/ out time is required, please make a request in the notes comment box on the registration page No Vehicle will be allowed entry to exhibit/vendor area after 9:30AM for safety reasons Vendors are required to remain at their exhibit until closing at 18:00 PM; if out of product please display a sold out or closed sign Each vendor is expected to clean up any mess that may be left behind at closing time Your vehicles will not remain next to your booth and must be parked in the designated area for vendors. Please drop off what is needed prior to set-up. Tents & Canopies must have weights applied around the bases at all times as the Airport can be windy Reservations for exhibit and vendor areas are based on a first booked & confirmed basis. When signing the application form page, this constitutes a contract between the Exhibitor/Vendor named (Authorized Signing Officer or Agent) and the Global Angel Charitable Org.(GACO). The Exhibitor/Vendor agrees to abide by the Standard Regulations and Code of Conduct of the event day and the Peterborough Airport and also to comply with the terms of the Contract below. CONTRACT The Exhibitor/Vendor assumes entire responsibility and hereby agrees to protect, indemnify, defend and hold the Global Angel Charitable Organization (GACO) and the Peterborough Airport, their respective officers, employees, volunteers, members and agents harmless from and against any and all claims, injuries and damage to person or persons, property, government charges or fines and attorney fee s arising out of or caused by the Exhibitors/Vendors installation, removal, maintenance, occupancy or use of the premises or any part thereof, or arising out or caused by the Exhibitors/Vendors participation in Pulling For Patients Challenge Event activities.

5 REGULATIONS & CODE OF CONDUCT Reserving Space Space is not considered reserved until full payment is made (if required according to criteria on the Registration Form) Vehicle Access to Exhibit area No vehicle access will be allowed on to exhibit area after 9:30AM on Saturday June 21 st until after18:15hrs on June 21. Installation of Exhibit/Vendor Exhibitors/Vendors may install at their own expense, special signs, displays, shelving and similar items not to exceed 2.5m (8 ) in height along the rear of the exhibit booth. No materials may be hung from the roof or walls of other buildings and or structures. Noise makers, disruptive audio, flashing signs or other attention getting devices are NOT allowed unless an integral part of the exhibitor s product line and prior approved. Solicitation of Business Persons or Companies who are registered Exhibitors/Vendors and being party to this agreement will confine solicitation to their display space or in close proximity to said space. All signs and products MUST be kept within the confines of their exhibit/vendor space. Exhibitor Aircraft Parking Aircraft that are part of an Exhibitors display may be parked in the assigned space, providing the aircraft does not extend beyond the assigned area. Aircraft that have to be moved require wing walkers and must be pulled or pushed into the designated exhibit space. NO aircraft shall be started at any time until clearance is provided by the Airport Manager and all reasonable safety precautions have been taken. Safety No smoking, explosives, flammable or other dangerous items will be allowed on the airport property. All display material, decorations must be fire resistant and securely attached to your display. No balloons permitted on airport property. Exhibitors conducting demonstrations utilizing open flame must have on hand the appropriate safety equipment, including fire extinguisher, with current inspections date. All demonstrations of this nature require pre-approval from the Airport Manager and Global Angel Charitable Org. (GACO). Arrangements and approvals must be in hand by June 1st Security - It is the responsibility of each Exhibitor/Vendor to safeguard their displays and products. GACO and the Peterborough Airport cannot assume any liability for losses by theft, fire, flood, wind, water, accident or injury to property or person including Exhibitor/Vendor and their employees and volunteers. All Exhibitors must make sure that their public liability, employee compensation insurance policies provide adequate coverage during the day. Including transportation and travel to and from the site.
