17 testo 340 Better Engine Tuning Separate measurement of NO and NO2. With the sensor combination NO + NO 2 the real NOx value is measured. In gas engines, the NO 2 component of the NOx value can fluctuate greatly, so the separate measurement of both gases is necessary for correct NOx values. Measurements even at high gas concentrations. Even at unexpectedly high gas concentrations (up to 50,000 ppm), the automatic dilution of the sensor with fresh air allows measurements even when the engine status is undefined, without negatively influencing the life expectancy of the sensor. Special engine probes as accessories The engine probes are very heat-proof, and specially designed to compensate different pressure conditions, e. g. measurements before and after the catalytic converter.
