100 TRACTION CONTROL UNIT (TCU) TCU supports tasks (regulation, control, measuring, sequencing, communication) related to the particular part of the vehicle (bogie) TCU is a part of the main drive converter. Each converter (3 pcs. per vehicle) powers 2 induction traction motors the system is functionaly coupled with the brake control units (BCU) certain electronic modules and programming language are completely identical to the VCU. It facilitates development, production, commissioning and service.
