1 Diploma Course in Advanced Network Security Centre for Information & Network Security is an application oriented research, design and development centre in the field of information Security created under aegis of Ministry of Communication and information technology, Government of India at the University of Pune. This is the first institute of its kind in India and has created a premier research and training capabilities in this field for Govt. of India. The creation of CINS was due to the emergent need for indigenous development of intellectual property in the field of information security, in order to address and counter issues related to National Security. Information Security awareness is essential for a sound overall information Security policy and its effective implementation. CINS can develop customized Security Awareness Training Programs for all levels of the organization. 2 Eligibility: Any graduate with basic computer networking knowledge and computer background. Entrance test: Entrance test will comprise of two equal sections (technical section and aptitude section) each having 15 multiple choice questions. Technical questions will be based on basic knowledge of internet, computers, computer networking, and operating systems. Negative marking will not be there.
