JAR:Load allows you to simulate users with machines of different capabilities. This makes the load applied to your service more realistic. New Relic is an applications management tool that helps you monitor, troubleshoot, and tune your production web apps 24x7. New relic provides full monitoring of your servers under load. With its full integration into JAR:Load you can see real-time statistics from your server s directly correlated with the the metrics produced from your test; handy to see that your server is running out of memory or your database server is dropping connections. If you signup for a New Relic account, you can sync performance data with JAR:load and view metrics such as Memory and Throughput overlaid on the JAR:Load Run Monitoring tab. JAR:Loads integration of New Relic fully supports all the server health metrics including CPU, memory and disk utilization; as well as disk capacity and network operations.

5 Performance SLA JAR:Load provides assurance that SLA s will be adhered to through the use of continuous integration testing. Customer-Facing Example: The homepage of our site will load in under 3 seconds measured at the 80th percentile via synthetic tests running in New York, LA, Seattle, and Miami every 30 minutes. We will measure this SLA at 8:00AM every morning and base it off the last 24 hours of data. Third-Party Provider SLA The average top ecommerce site contains 7 third-party scripts, with some sites containing up to 25 scripts. Yet despite this proliferation, most third-party providers don t offer real-time monitoring of their scripts, nor do they offer meaningful service level agreements (SLAs). Cloud Provider SLA When your application is hosted on the cloud your service is hosted on a shared system.
