2 2 GENERAL INFORMATION: WHITE WATER PARK, RIO SAN JUAN, ARGENTINA White Water Park is located under the Ullum dam on the Rio San Juan, about 18 km from the capital city. It is a section of river artificially modified by KCSJ (Kayak Club San Juan) for creating the park first level and recognized by all practitioners of the activity. The area is very popular to practice all sorts of outdoor sports such as mountain biking, trekking, running, motocross, paragliding, zip lining, rappelling, etc. San Juan area: The territory of this province has 89,651 square kilometers, where premium is mountainous interspersed with valleys and crossings under a climate, predominant, temperate dry, with marked scarcity of surface water courses. In the valleys, oases, product of embalming and systematization of rivers generated by the Andean snowmelt develop. In those areas where the population is concentrated. 4 4 PLACE OF COMPETITION World Cup would take place in San Juan Park White Water Kayak Club San Juan. This park has a wave / hole first national level, where they train local competitors (San Juan, Mendoza, Neuquen, Salta, Tucuman) and international competitors have come (Chile, Peru, Brazil, USA, Russia, Spain) to test their routines unbeatable characteristics of this wave. Already they have been previously developed three competitions International here 1st and 2nd South American and 1 Pan American Freestyle Kayak National championships: Argentina Cup Freestyle Kayak and Kayak SASO Fest. TRAINING Training track in the wave and is free during the year. June and July 2016 will remain without water section of Rio for competition. From October 1 athletes must be registered for use of the wave. The optimum amount of water for those dates is guaranteed. 5 5 MOD CONS The days of the event will count with electricity at the site, general lighting and wave, tent for 200 people, catering, stage, public restrooms, nursery pots, and drinking water. FOODS All competitors will have during the days of competition (qualifying and day event) a regime of meals delivered at the site of Kayak Club San Juan where competition is developed and Aldo Cantoni Stadium where athletes will be staying. Scheme for (10) days of competition: Breakfast: hot tea, milk, coffee, yogurt, sweet dough s, honey, fruit station, water, orange juice, mineral water. Lunch: Pasta, vegetables, white meats and red meats. (Offered in Venue of Competition) Dinner: pasta, vegetables, white meats and red meats. (Change every days) ACCOMMODATION ATHLETES Camps: Not available facilities or running water in the event area, therefore not recommend camping on the site. Aldo Cantoni Stadium accommodation: Athletes have the ability to hire, price differential, a bed in hosting the stadium, located in the capital of San Juan. The same features extensive amenities such as bathrooms with permanent hot and cold water, dining room, air conditioning. TRANSPORT DAILY All day event will be public transportation to the place of competition for training in times from 10:00 am to 6:00 p.m. return. Every day should reserve places for such transport to facilitate their coordination. SUMMARY Athletes package. Login to web to contract.
