The content will contain: Drills, Models Swings, etc. Limited use of Stack & Tilt Network Instructor Logo An address for use in instruction: [email protected] Certificate signed by Mike Bennett and Andy Plummer, recognizing you as a Network member of the Stack & Tilt Authorization Program Requirements of Program: Attend a one day seminar (9am-4pm, lunch included) with Mike Bennett and Andy Plummer, this is where you will receive the Training Manual. In order to be listed on the website as a Network Stack & Tilt Instructor the golf professional will complete the following: Submit a written explanation (online form will be provided) of the10 words that describe the Stack & Tilt system, the ball flight laws, the grid and teaching drills that will be provided through the Instructor only portion of the Website. Approval will be given by AM Golf Associates, LLC and you will be notified via with a pass, or retake needed. In order to become a Network Stack & Tilt Instructor, the golf professional will: Pass a written test that includes before/after pictures requiring a response explaining changes or differences with how and /or why in an essay format. Submit 5 golf lessons, using the Stack & Tilt template, of before/after student pictures with explanations of the changes that have been made. Explanations will be approved by AM Golf Associates, LLC before moving on to the Advanced Stack & Tilt distinction.

3 Om Michael Bennett and Andy Plummer began learning about golf swing theory out of necessity. They were professional golfers who wanted to become outstanding players themselves, yet found it difficult to improve consistently. Subsequently they sought out many of the game s best instructors, and at times their advice was just what they needed to improve. However there were also times of steep decline in their progress that made little to no sense given the amount of time they dedicated to practicing. This revealed to them that there was a lack of order in their understanding of the game of golf. Out of necessity they began organizing the swing based on advice received from noted teacher Mac Grady, and based on principles laid out in Homer Kelley s book The Golfing Machine. This process resulted in a system of understanding and organizing the game of golf that would later be referred to as the Stack & Tilt. The goal of the system is to present golf as a progressive set of workable challenges to the beginning players while also being broad enough to differentiate the smallest variations on the champion player. Mike and Andy s background as players afforded them the opportunity to meet numerous professionals who eventually sought their help. Tom Scherer and Grant Waite were among first PGA Tour winners who practiced regularly with Andy and Mike. Their noted and drastic improvements and recommendations were instrumental in attracting other players. Before working with Andy and Mike Tom had struggled with his ball striking considerably. The following year Tom finished ranked first on the Nationwide Tour s ball striking statistic. Grant introduced Dean Wilson and later Steve Elkington to Andy and Mike in What followed were breakout seasons by both Wilson and Elkington, which thrust Andy and Mike upper echelons of golf instruction. Along the way they were backed up by breakout performances by Tjaart Van der Walt and steady play by Tommy Armour III. This got the attention of Aaron Baddeley at the end of 2005 season. Aaron immediately finished 4th in the Australian Open in 2005 and then in 2006 won the Verizon Heritage, his first PGA Tour win. This was quickly followed by victories from Dean Wilson, Eric Axley, and Will Mackenzie. This gave Andy and Mike s students four 1st time winners on the PGA Tour plus Charlie Wi s win in the European Tour sanctioned Malaysian Open.

4 Om Shortly after Aaron Baddeley s second PGA Tour victory at the Phoenix Open in February 2007, Golf Digest proposed doing a story on the teaching methods of Mike and Andy. Using Aaron Baddeley as the de facto poster boy for the system, Stack & Tilt was thus born to the public. Having noted the progress of his friend and college teammate Dean WIlson, Mike Weir became interested in Stack & Tilt at the end of In the course of the 8 months they worked together he improved his world ranking from 48th to 17th and won his first PGA Tour event in five years. Along the way Mike and Andy s methods have been featured in numerous magazines including Golf Digest, Sports Illustrated and Golf World among others. They have appeared on the syndicated talk show The Charlie Rose Show and published a book titled The Stack and Tilt Swing, which briefly cracked Amazons top 100 bestseller list. This publicity has made Stack & Tilt the most talked about element in golf instruction in more than a generation, as evidenced by Golf World magazine naming Stack & Tilt one of the biggest stories in golf in Andy and Mike have now coached 10 different players who have won on the PGA Tour. Their methods have been used to win numerous tournaments on the Nationwide Tour as well as professional golf tournaments around the world. They also find improving the games of amateurs and beginners as gratifying as working with the best players in the world. They still teach players of all levels on a regular basis. Bennett lives in New Jersey and Plummer lives outside of Philadelphia.
