4 Business Region Göteborg Is the head and project manager of Biogas Väst Winner of the American environmental prize Blue Sky Award for creating Biogas Väst, the first regional biogas project in Sweden. BRG has inspired the many foreign visitors to Sweden to take advantage of Swedish expertise in developing biogas for vehicles in their own countries, says John Boesel, CEO of Calstart

5 Göteborg & The County of Västra Götaland The third largest region in Sweden and consists of 49 municipalities of which Göteborg is the biggest. Scandinavian transport and logistics centre with Scandinavia's biggest port in Göteborg. Västra Götaland has varying environments, rich cultural heritage and diversity and unique natural values and a strong environmental awareness. There are also several centres for applied research and development. Co-operation with trade and industry has a strong tradition.
