Your success depends on your efforts to keep as many people as possible active in your Prospecting Pipeline. The goal is to keep as many people as you can progressing through the various stages. You can use the Tracking Chart (below) to keep track of exactly where your contacts are and what they need to make it through to the end of the Prospecting Pipeline as a success and a member of your team. You can turn most any errand into a business trip if you make business the primary purpose of the trip. Make prospecting for your business the primary purpose of the errand, rather than the grocery store or dry cleaners by always having some HEALTH NEWS newspapers ready to be handed out wherever you go. Remember as you read that Cold Market marketing is not an exact science and you may need to try different methods and locations to find success. What results can you expect to receive? Typically a one percent return in considered successful. Plan you budget accordingly. Your Own Paper Route Develop a Paper Route where you place stacks of HEALTH NEWS newspapers in local businesses. People who subscribe to local newspapers usually read it because they pay for it. By selecting specific areas, you are able to target people by economic and geographic criteria. The Details Their is a vast difference in the return you receive by selecting the proper type of newspaper to use. Only work with newspapers that are offered on a subscription basis (weekly or longer). The people that subscribe want the newspaper and they are much more likely to read it. The newspaper will stay around a long time and your prospect will have more time to read the HEALTH NEWS inside. Daily newspapers do not get read every day and your results will suffer. Also, select areas with care. Often newspapers will have different segments that you may include. Make sure you choose the proper economic areas to reach the best potential prospects.
