How to register for Plan-It Purple

1 Step 1: Log into your WINS account, from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater homepage: (Mobile devices are NOT compatible).

2 Step 2: Your NetID is your last name (up to 8 characters), your first initial, middle initial and the two digit day you were born (ex. May 4 = 04): If this is your first time logging into your account, please see the information below. Your password will be your 7 digit ID number assigned to you at time of admission and can be found in your admit letter. If you are unable to locate your ID number you may call the Admissions office to retrieve this number: Contact the ICIT Helpdesk at HELP (4357) or via at [email protected] if you have questions or need further assistance regarding your log in information.

3 Step 3: Once logged in, select UWW Applications link on the left panel. Step 4: Select Plan-It Purple Step 5: Select Reserve a Date

4 Step 6: Please read carefully, once you agree; please select start Step 7: Please review information and confirm accuracy.

5 Step 8: Please read carefully, choose a date in which you (and potential guests) can attend the entire day (8am-4pm). Select date. Month/Day/Year Step 9: Please indicate if you are planning to bring a guest. Your guest will not be with you throughout the day; they have a different schedule.

6 Step 10: Please indicate if you or your guest need an accommodation or have a dietary need. Step 11: Please verify information. You may add additional guests at a later time but you may not delete guests. The entire New Student Fee is non-refundable. Month/Day/Year

7 Step 12: Please select Click to Pay (New Student Fee and Enrollment Deposit). Your registration is NOT complete until payment is made. Your registration summary is your confirmation and contains the details of the program. You may access this PDF at any time. Please print for your records.

The New Student Fee covers the cost of Plan-It Purple and all of the orientation activities throughout the first year. Each new student is also required to pay a one-time $100 enrollment deposit. This deposit remains on the student account during enrollment at the university. The deposit is never applied to charges or fees; rather it rolls forward to the next term as a deposit for that term, and is refundable when the you leave UW Whitewater. You MUST pay the New Student Fee (non-refundable) and the enrollment deposit to complete your registration. New Student Fee: $90/$50 Guest Fee(s): $15+ Enrollment Deposit: $100 Amount Due: Total You will see a bill on your WINS account immediately. How to pay: Pay online: Checking/Savings Account: Electronic payments made from your checking or savings are FREE! Credit Card: Credit Card payments can be made online using MasterCard, American Express and Discover. There is a 2.75% convenience fee (minimum $3.00) when making a credit card payment. Debit Card: Debit card payments are treated as credit card payments and will be charged the convenience fee. However, you can enter your routing and account number from the bank associated with your debit card and this option is free (see above: Checking/Savings Account) If you need to change your Plan-It Purple date you may do so via your WINS account.
