6 CROOK COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT EDUCATION Crook County School District #1, public education for K-12, has several schools located in. A new elementary school will soon be built next to our high school and junior high. An alternative secondary school, Bearlodge High School, is located in town and and serves the surrounding area. A preschool is also located in the Central District Office downtown. Crook County is located in the northeast corner of Wyoming and is home to Devils Tower, America s First National Monument.
