I would like to send a personal compliment to whomever it concerns for yourself and Alicaja you were both amazing. I would like to send my warmest regards to all the staff that worked so hard and made us feel so special Gemma & Matt Hending, Married 23rd August 2014 Rhydian and I would just like to thank all the staff at the St Davids Hotel and Spa for providing the perfect venue for our wedding. From the very beginning to the last dance, everything was perfect. Nothing was too much for the staff and a big thank you to Gemma for all the hard work that she did. I would recommend the hotel to anyone who is looking for a venue to share their special day with. It was AMAZING! The service from yourself and team, from start to finish was impeccable and faultless! Your thoroughness and attention to detail, in every area of Wedding was outstanding. From supplier details we had chosen and assisting with set up and drop off times, to table displays! Helping me with my dress and my busy toddler who kept running off en-route to ceremony! Demonstrating how you go above and beyond your role, to ensure the smooth running of the day. Please thank Thomas for us, he also helped the day to run flawlessly and we both very much felt he was very much in control on the day as he had everything in hand. As I say the day ran so smoothly and impeccably I can t praise you both enough! My view is that we had a 5* venue, with a 5* service. I sincerely don't believe there is a better Wedding Venue in Cardiff, with the most amazing views as well! Thank you all for help in creating a dream Wedding Day - a day we will treasure always! The food was delicious and we received so many complements on the taste and the speed at which is brought to every table. The room looked stunning and helped complete the fairy tale wedding. 3 I would like to offer you both my sincere thanks for helping arrange a fantastic weekend at the St Davids Hotel. The function room (Penarth Suite) was beautifully laid out and the decoration/seating was perfect. Your attention to detail and professional manner, helped make a great weekend of celebration. Once again thank you. Private event - February 2014 We would like to thank you for your help in giving us the most perfect wedding reception we could have asked for. We were quite detailed with our plans and you got every little detail right and just as we wanted it. Gemma was great also on the day keeping in touch with us throughout the set up. Jacub was simply amazing all day. He went out of his way to make sure everything went to plan and meet all our needs. The meal was excellent as was the food in the evening. Plenty of compliments from our guests and no complaints!! We couldn't have asked for a better day. We choose St David's hotel & spa for our wedding reception as the location was perfect and views spectacular. We booked 2 years in advance to guarantee our date and give us time to plan and save! Attention to detail was perfect and everything was as we wished!! The staff were excellent, from the wedding coordinators to the waiters/waitresses on the day. The meal was fantastic as was the late night munchies. All of our guests complimented on the food. We were even able to change some guests meals where they didn't like what was on the set menu. We really couldn't have asked for any more from the hotel. The photo opportunities were excellent, from the reception and locations outside the hotel to the stunning deluxe master suite that was included with our package. We recommend St David's to anyone looking for a fantastic 5 star venue in Cardiff to get married or hold their reception. We had a fantastic weekend, exactly what we'd hoped for. We even stayed another night on the Sunday we enjoyed it so much! Thanks for all your help and hard work, and please pass on our thanks to Jakub and his team who made it such a special occasion. 4 The venue (Roald Dahl Room) was stunning. All my guests complimented how lovely everything looked, from the table settings, to the colour co-ordination, to the views over the Bay. The bar area outside the room was perfectly placed and convenient. Numerous comments were made at how good the buffet food was. The staff on the night were spot on, they provided the service without being noticed which is what I wanted. Particular praise to the DJ on the night (apologies, can t remember the name), he played exactly what we wanted and was extremely friendly. He played until we were too tired for any more! Overall the night was one to remember and I would recommend it to anyone that is seeking a venue to hold an event, be it wedding / parties / corporate etc. Ai Tong Just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and all the staff who helped us at St David's for our wedding! The flowers are beautiful, our day with you was flawless and we really enjoyed! Nearly every guest made comments to us about the venue being such a good choice with the views and the food and service was really outstanding! We've never had such a lovely room (just a shame we couldn't spend more time in there) but never mind that's what anniversaries are for. Thank you for your hard work, answering all my questions and helping us rearrange the tables on the day! Everything was perfect and I've already recommended you to another couple asking about our experience in the lift at the hotel who were also considering using your hotel for their wedding next year!
