Diagnostic Medical Sonographer SEIU Grade 12; two year allied health program (Medical Radiation Technology hours) plus Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program (630 classroom hours); certification American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or CARDUP; basic computer skills; ECG training, where required. Dietitian HSAS Bachelors degree in human nutrition plus either a dietetic internship, a community nutrition residency or a Masters degree in public health, community nutrition or equivalent. Eligibility for membership in Dietitians of Canada (formerly Canadian Dietetic Association). Comprehensive knowledge of the issues relating to human nutrition. Electrician SEIU Grade 11: Electrician course (1200 classroom hours) plus Journeyperson certificate; basic computer skills; 45 months previous experience which includes 36 months apprenticeship time (6000 hours), plus 9 months post-ticket experience in an industrial / commercial maintenance environment. Emergency Medical Technician HSAS possess and maintain a valid Saskatchewan Class A4 driver's licence; possess and maintain valid Saskatchewan Health licensure; ability to reason and react quickly and calmly in emergency situations; ability to perform prolonged and arduous work under adverse working conditions; ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with other health-care workers. Environmental Services Worker SEIU Grade 10. Environmental Services Working SEIU Grade 12; basic computer skills; 15 months previous experience in institutional Supervisor housekeeping to consolidate knowledge and skills. Epidemiologist HSAS Master s degree in Epidemiology; formal training in biostatistics would be an asset. Medical Radiation Technologist SEIU Grade 12; two year Medical Radiation Technology diploma (2605 hours); registration with Working Supervisor Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists and Saskatchewan Association of Medical Radiation Technologist; advanced knowledge of specific disciplines, testing procedures, and Radiology information system; demonstrated decision making and analytical skills; demonstrated communication / interpersonal skills, demonstrated knowledge in the operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of analytical equipment; advanced knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control protocols; 36 months previous discipline related experience to consolidate knowledge and skills, with a basic knowledge of other disciplines within the department. Medical Transcriptionist SEIU Grade 12; one year Office Education / Medical specialty certificate (1745 hours). Mental Health Therapist I HSAS Diploma in the area of rehabilitation services and current membership in the corresponding professional association. Current driver s licence. Basic life saving skills preferred. Mental Health Therapist II HSAS Diploma in the area of rehabilitation services and current membership in the corresponding professional association. Network Technician / Maintenance SEIU Grade 12; one year Building System Technician certificate (1825 hours); 5th Class Operator Engineer certificate; Registered Network Installer certificate (64 hours); Provincial Pesticide Applicators certificate (30 hours), where applicable; demonstrated computer skills, valid drivers license; 6 months previous experience in network cabling and working in a commercial / maintenance environment. Neurophysiology Technologist SEIU Grade 12; two year Electroneurophysiology course (2045 hours); certification with the Canadian Society of Clinical Neurophysiologists. 8 Nurse B - Diabetes Nurse Educator SUN Current registration with the S.R.N.A. Requires, or is in the progress toward, a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a recognized University or comparable degree in education/adult learning; Demonstrated ability to apply the principles of adult learning and the client centred model of care. Experience in diabetes care management. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Nutritionist HSAS Bachelors degree in human nutrition plus a dietetic internship or a community nutrition residency; or a Masters degree in public health, community nutrition or equivalent. Comprehensive knowledge of the issues relating to human nutrition. Ability to independently assess, develop, implement, market and evaluate a comprehensive nutrition program. Occupational / Physical Therapist SEIU Grade 12; one year Occupational Therapist Assistant / Physical Therapist Assistant Assistant Certificate (1134 hours); valid drivers license, where required; no previous experience required. Occupational Therapist HSAS Degree/diploma in Occupational Therapy from a Canadian Association of Occupational Therapy accredited facility. Member of and licensed to practice Occupational Therapy with the Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapists. Office Assistant SEIU Grade 12; one year Office Education certificate (1201 hours); medical terminology, where required; six months previous experience in an office environment. Operating Room Nurse - Nurse A SUN Current registration with S.R.N.A. Recent clinical O.R. experience or completion of a six month postgraduate course in Operating Room Nursing and Techniques is required. Operating Room Scheduler SEIU Grade 12; one year Office Education certificate (1201 hours); medical terminology; 12 months previous experience working in a medical office environment utilizing medical terminology. Painter and Decorator SEIU Grade 10; Painter and Decorator course (900 hours classroom time) plus Journeyperson certificate; basic computer skills; 24 months apprenticeship time (4500 hours). Paramedic HSAS Possess and maintain a valid Saskatchewan Health EMT-P certificate, possess and maintain a valid Saskatchewan Class A4 driver's licence, graduate of an EMT-Paramedic course which is recognized by Saskatchewan Health. Patient Placement Clerk SEIU Grade 12; One (1) year Office Education certificate (1201 hours); medical terminology; six months previous experience performing patient registration clerk duties. Payroll Officer SEIU Grade 12; one year Office Education course (1201 hours); Payroll Management Certificate program (135 hours); six months previous experience working with payroll, accounting and collective agreements. Pharmacist HSAS Graduate of a recognized Faculty of Pharmacy, and eligible for licensure by the Saskatchewan Pharmaceutical Association. Previous hospital experience and/or a hospital Residency is preferred. Membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists is desirable. Pharmacy Technician SEIU Grade 12; one year Pharmacy Technician course (1009 hours). Physical Therapist HSAS Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy and licensed to practice in Saskatchewan through the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists. The incumbent must also be eligible for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Plumber SEIU Grade 11; Plumber course (1126 classroom hours) plus Journeyperson certificate; required Gas ticket; basic computer skills; valid drivers license; 60 months previous experience which includes 48 months apprenticeship time (7874 hours), plus 12 months post-ticket experience in an industrial / institutional / commercial maintenance environment. 10 Primary Care Nurse - Nurse C SUN Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing preferred; Current registration with the SRNA; registered or eligible for RN (NP) registration with the SRNA; Certificate in Advanced Clinical Nursing, Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience; minimum of five (5) years experience working as a Registered Nurse, with experience in a Primary Health Care setting preferred; strong communication and public relations skills; and, recent experience and demonstrated leadership in the areas of community needs assessment, community development, and health promotion; Valid driver s license. Psychiatric Nurse - Nurse A SUN Eligible for registration with the Registered Psychiatric Nurses' Association of Saskatchewan or the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses' Association. Psychologist, Masters Degree HSAS Masters in Clinical Psychology with experience in working in a Mental Health setting or related field. Knowledge, skill and ability in performing a broad range of psychological testing and assessment. Public Health Inspector HSAS Completion of a formal course in public health inspection at an approved school of instruction. Certificate of proficiency in public health inspection issued by the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors. Eligibility for registration with the CIPHI. Public Health Nurse - Nurse B SUN Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Nursing; current registration with SRNA; one year Public Health nursing experience. Purchasing Clerk SEIU Grade 12; one year Office Education certificate (1201 hours). Receptionist SEIU Grade 12; one year Office Education certificate (1201 hours); medical terminology. Must be registered (or be eligible for registration) and maintain registration with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists. Must be willing and able to complete primary training course in Hyper baric Medicine. Must complete CPR course and re-certify yearly Senior Public Health Inspector HSAS Certificate in Public Health Inspection, Canada (CIPHI,C). Eligibility for registration (or licence) in the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors. Social Worker HSAS Minimum BSW from a recognized School of Social Work with significant experience working with children, youth and families. Current registration with the SASW. Special Care Aide / Home Health SEIU Grade 10; One year Home Care / Special Care Aide course (827 hours); valid drivers license, where required. Speech Language Pathologist HSAS Complete professional training in speech-language pathology, with Master s as minimum. Eligibility for registration (or licensure) with Saskatchewan Association of Speech & Language Pathologists & Audiologists (SASLPA). Spiritual Care Coordinator SEIU Grade 12; four year Baccalaureate degree in Theology or Religious studies; valid drivers license; 12 months previous experience including delivery of spiritual care and dealing with emotional / ill / invalid persons and families. Staff Scheduler SEIU Grade 12; one year Office Education certificate (1201 hours); 6 months previous experience working in an office environment to gain organizational skills. Sterile Processing Worker SEIU Grade 12; Sterile Processing and Distribution certificate (700 hours).
