Some occupations have limited places and when these places have been filled the occupation will be removed from this list. - Applicants must apply for nomination by submitting an EOI through SkillSelect. Applicants selecting Queensland will be viewed before candidates selecting "all states". - The Queensland Government will screen suitable eligible candidates who genuinely would prefer to live and work in Queensland before those selecting all states and territories. - Applicants must meet the occupational requirements as set out on these pages to apply for state nomination.
9 - For all occupations, applicants who hold a passport for the United States, United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Canada or New Zealand are not required to sit an English language test unless the registration/licensing body for that occupation requires an test or the applicant requires additional points.
