2 2 placing people first WARSAW vs WROCLAW 1H 2013 The labour market for IT professionals in Poland is undergoing increasing geographical diversification, both in terms of position and offered salaries. The Warsaw market is still the most attractive; however Wroclaw constantly attracts new investors and IT specialists as well. The IT industry is characterized by a relatively high disparity in salaries offered in each location. Looking at the nett wage in the IT sector for the last six months we can see a slight difference between the salaries offered in the province of Mazovia and Silesia. This is due to expectations of candidates, which are reflected in the cost of living in Warsaw. features of universality, which means that the number of newly opened positions is the highest here. The most sought after IT candidates in Warsaw are developers, especially Java, C + + and Net. In Wroclaw is the greatest demand for software specialists, engineers, technical support and network/system administrators.
