12 COLDHAM ESTATE DIRECTIONS TO ENERGY WORKS Coldham Estate Coldham Wisbech PE14 0LX Approx 1 mile south of where the 41 meets the A47, turn due East to follow the road (signposted for Coldham and Fridaybridge) alongside the twenty foot river. Join the B1101 and head north at a sharp left hand bend where you leave the river. Pass Farmcare Rutlands Farm on the RHS (potato stores) Entrance to Coldham Hall Farm and Coldham Wind Farm is approx 1 mile further on right hand side. (There is a terrace of 4 cottages on right hand side after the farm drive.) School coach to park in front of the barns on right hand side (first buildings). School party to walk alongside right hand side of farm road (in twos). Caution - farm vehicles Turn right down farm office drive (opposite house). Caution farm vehicles Energy Works is through the second door on the building to the left. 10

13 Cambridge Professional Development Centre Foster Road, Trumpington, Cambridge CB2 9NL Take Junction 11 of the M11 and follow signs for Cambridge, 309. After a mile, turn right onto Anstey Way (opposite filling station). At the T junction turn right onto Foster Road. Follow the road round the housing estate and Cambridge Professional Development Centre is at the top of the road, on the right hand side. 11

At the roundabout (VW Audi Garage) turn left then immediately right into London Road. Continue for about half a mile and The Dolphin Hotel is on the left by the old river bridge. Please note that vehicles are not permitted to cross the old river bridge. 13

17 Girton College Cambridge CB3 0JG From outside Cambridge, by road, the recommended route to the main college site from the North is via the 4 to the junction with the 307 (Huntingdon Road), from whence the college is a little way down on the left. Note that the M11(J14) is rather complex and you are advised to consult a more detailed map, or to pay close attention to road signs. Access to Girton is only possible if coming from the North at the junction where the 4 turns into the M11(J14). If coming from the South on the M11 leave at J13, proceed into town on the 303 (Madingley Road) and then out of town on the (307) Huntingdon Road. To get to Wolfson Court from out side Cambridge, ei ther leave the M11(J12) and proceed into the city on Barton Road, turning left onto Grange Road, or leave the M11(J13) and proceed into the city on Madingley Road, turning right onto Grange Road. Wolfson Court is on Clarkson Road, a turning off Grange Road. 15

20 Hinchingbrooke Country Park & Countryside Centre The Countryside Centre is situated within Hinchingbrooke Country Park, located opposite Hinchingbrooke Hospital A&E. From the roundabout opposite the hospital turn left into the Country Park and park in one of the bays on the right hand side. To reach the Countryside Centre follow the signs down the drive to the wooden building. If you have an evening meeting, are disabled or have equipment to unload then you are able to drive to the car park next to the Centre. From Southbound (from Peterborough) Take the slip-road signed The Midlands, Huntingdon & Felixstowe 4 which leads to the Brampton Hut roundabout. Turn left at the roundabout onto the 4 Eastbound signed Huntingdon & Cambridge. Take the first slip-road off, junction 22, signed Brampton, Huntingdon & racecourse. Turn right at the roundabout at the top then follow the brown Country Park & the red hospital A&E signs to Hinchingbrooke Country Park. From the Northbound (from London / St Neots) Take the slip-road signed The Midlands, Huntingdon & Felixstowe 4 which leads to the Brampton Hut roundabout. Turn right at the roundabout onto the 4 Eastbound signed Huntingdon & Cambridge. Take the first slip-road off, junction 22, signed Brampton, Huntingdon & racecourse. Turn left at the roundabout signed Kettering 4, then take the 2 nd slip-road, junction 22, signed Brampton & racecourse. Turn left at the roundabout & continue to follow the brown Country Park & the red hospital A&E signs to Hinchingbrooke Country Park. 29 Directions to Sackville House, Cambourne. By Car: From the M11 heading North Come off at Junction 13, taking the 303 West towards Bedford and the A428. You will pass the American Cemetery on your right. At the roundabout take the second exit onto the A428 West. Continue until you see signs for Cambourne (you will see a water tower on the right hand side). At the top of the slip road take the first exit. From the 4 heading West Continue past Cambridge; the road you are on simply becomes the A428. Do not follow signs to remain on the 4 by following a slip road. Continue on the A428 West until you see signs for Cambourne (you will see a water tower on the right hand side). At the top of the slip road take the first exit. From the 4 heading East (or from Huntingdon) At Godmanchester take the 198 South towards Papworth Everard. Having driven past Papworth Everard, at the Caxton Gibbet roundabout take the first exit onto the A428 East. Continue on the A428 East until you see signs for Cambourne. At the top of the slip road take the third exit towards Cambourne village, followed by the first exit at the next roundabout (there is a no-entry slip road before this on the roundabout). From St. Neots Travel on the A428 East until you see signs for Cambourne. At the top of the slip road take the third exit towards Cambourne village, followed by the first exit at the next roundabout (there is a no-entry slip road before this on the roundabout). Once in Cambourne: You will see the Hotel Lake on your left as you enter the village. At the roundabout take the first exit over the small bridge. At the next roundabout take the third exit into Morrisons car park. This car park is actually owned by the village and provides free parking all day. Disabled parking spaces are accessible next to the building through the gates at the far corner of the car park. Stand with your back to Morrisons, you will be facing Sackville House (you may see it says Library and Health Centre in large letters on the wall. As you enter the building you will see Reception where staff should be able to direct you to the correct place. 27

At the traffic lights near the bridge, bear right past the Clarkson Memorial. At the War Memorial turn left around the Crescent to Museum Square. For parking see map. Ideally park in Vicarage car park. The footpaths link to the Church gardens immediately adjacent to Museum Square and the Castle. From the A47 (Norfolk): Enter the town centre via the 101 (Churchill Road). Take a left turn past the second set of traffic lights and another left into Church Terrace, where the road forks. Turn right into the Vicarage Car Park. Take the footpath through St Peters Church Hall Car Park into Museum Square and the Castle is immediately in front of you. 35
