This post-event report gives you a breakdown and reference guide to the meetings proceedings. 3 3 OVERVIEW Overview Concepts UAE - Business Meetings opened directly with the pre-arranged meetings following a quick introductory networking session. The initiative had an enthusiastic participation from construction buyers as well as solution providers. It was a first of its kind initiative in UAE which enabled 'real-time' business opportunities through pre-arranged one-to-one business meetings with pre-qualified buyers. The buyers included senior level decision makers from contracting companies, architects and interior designers representing some of the major upcoming construction and design projects in the UAE. Solution providers represented a range of products and services from sanitary ware, building materials and interior fit-out to furnishings. Feedback from buyers was that the Concepts business meetings not only proved to be a perfect platform to network with peers but also get a hands-on experience on innovative ideas and solutions. Solution providers were particularly appreciative about the senior level buyers' participation in the one-to-one meetings which helped them to capitalise on the deal-making opportunities it provided. Business meetings were soon followed by a gala dinner which was another opportunity for the participants to network and discuss business- that marked the end of the initiative.
