2 Introduction IIM Raipur achieves 100% placements for the fourth consecutive year in record time. The institute continues to ride high on its strong relationship with the corporate from India and abroad. Companies from a variety of sectors showed interest in recruiting from IIM Raipur, owing to the diversity of academic backgrounds and work experience of the students in the 4 th batch of its flagship Post Graduate Programme in Management. Based on the preference of the batch, several leadership roles were offered to the students. A total of 115 companies showed interest in the final placement process this year. The batch consisted of 119 future leaders who have proved their mettle at every opportunity presented to them. The number of PPOs/PPIs (12) is a testimony to the exceptional performance of the batch of during their internships. The institute continues to maintain a symbiotic relation with its past recruiters. Our past recruiters continued to show faith, demonstrating the ascent of the brand of IIM Raipur. Some of the most prominent organizations with whom we cherish our long term association include Bharat Forge, BPCL, Future Supply Chain, HT Media, ICICI Bank, Infosys BPO, JSPL, Kadence International, KPMG, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., Tata Power, Tata Steel, Vedanta Plc., etc. The major highlight of the placement season was the overwhelming response received from some of the first time recruiters at the institute. These include Accenture, Cognizant, Deloitte, DS Group, Future Group, HDFC bank, ICICI Prudential, Idea Cellular, L&T, L&T Finance, Motilal Oswal, SBI, Times Group, Virtusa, Wipro, Zamil Steel etc. to name a few. The industry satisfaction with the quality of students was evident from the fact that our biggest recruiters this season Accenture, Bharat Forge, Cognizant, Deloitte, SBI and Wipro hired in huge numbers. Lateral Placement Process The Final Placement season at IIM Raipur kick started with as many as 39 lateral placement offers being made this year. JSPL, one of our oldest recruiters, offered the most coveted Leadership Profiles to our students. Semco marked its presence by giving opportunity to one of our students in Defence Consulting. Other major companies that had participated in this process included Cognizant, Deloitte, Infosys BPO, RetailOn, Times Group and Wipro. Students were offered a wide range of profiles like Business Analytics, Defence Consulting, IT Consulting, Leadership Profile, Sales & Marketing etc.

Domain-wise Split up This recruitment season saw participation from some of the biggest corporate houses offering challenging roles to our students. The students had the opportunity to choose from a gamut of diversified profiles from various domains. Marketing being the forte of IIM Raipur, had the majority of the offers (42%), followed by Operations & General Management roles (25%). We also witnessed a tremendous increase in the number of Consulting roles offered (17%) as compared to last year. 4 Finance Finance being one of the most promising domains, witnessed 14% of the batch receiving niche offers in this domain. Rise in the proportion of Finance offers is due to the rise in the investments observed in the industry this year. Our biggest recruiter in this domain was, once again, ICICI Bank which made its presence felt with as many as 4 offers. Motilal Oswal recruited for its prestigious SPARK Programme for the very first time. Organizations such as HDFC Bank, L&T Finance, SBI also opened up their finance profiles for the very first time for our students. The interest shown by a leading multinational bank and an investment-banking firm were the toasts of the season for our finance enthusiasts. Our students were offered a number of profiles such as Corporate Finance, Risk Advisory, Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Investment Banking, etc. Operations & General Management Riding on the back of improved core industry sentiments, offers in this domain also saw a stark increase this year. A leading Mumbai based Chemicals Manufacturing organization, offered the exclusive profile of Executive Assistant to the CEO. L&T recruited for its core operations profile and Future Supply Chain gave its promising supply chain profile to our students. Some of our students bagged opportunities in Operations Consulting for the very first time. Students extensive work experience in diverse functional domains attracted several major firms offering leadership and strategy roles. JSPL recruited for the third successive year for their prestigious JLMT programme. Organizations such as DS Group, Future Group, ICICI Prudential, Tata Power and Zamil Steel gave our students an opportunity for the very first time by opening their General Management and Leadership profiles. A few of our students have also received opportunities to head new product developments in prominent organizations. An upcoming e-commerce startup recruited for its Strategic Advisory group and one of our students has also secured a position in the field of Defense Consulting. Sales and Marketing Sales and Marketing continued its status as one of the most sought after profiles at IIM Raipur. The fact that 45% of the batch opted for roles from this domain is a testament to this legacy. The highest international package was offered by one of our oldest recruiters, Kadence International, with a niche profile in Marketing Analytics and Research. Students were offered a variety of roles ranging from Business Development, B2B & B2C Sales, Qualitative and Quantitative Marketing Research, Brand Management, Key Account Management etc. We were privileged to host Idea Cellular, SBI, Times Group,
5 Wipro and Sangam Group for the very first time and extend opportunities to our students. Prominent recruiters in this domain included Bharat Forge, HDFC Bank, BPCL, HT Media, Idea Cellular, Jubilant Life Sciences, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., SBI, Tata Power, Tata Steel, Vedanta Plc., etc. Consulting & IT The Consulting and IT domain also saw interests in huge numbers from students having flair for technology. A good mix of Freshers and Experienced students opted for roles in Consulting and Business Analytics from various esteemed organizations. The highlights were offers made in niche profiles of Operations Consulting, Consulting for Defense Business Development, Architecture and Tourism Consultancy etc. The diverse backgrounds of the students were matched by profiles of choice indicating the first step of alignment, towards sustainability. We take great pride in the fact that 15 companies in this domain were the first time recruiters. Some of companies in this domain are, Accenture, Cognizant, Deloitte, Infosys BPO, KPMG, Virtusa etc. Human Resources IIM Raipur announced itself as a premier institute for the field of Human Resources with the erudite exposure presented to the students. Having been mentored by eminent personalities from the corporate, students were ready to take on niche HR as well as leadership roles across top-notch firms. The prominent organizations showing interest in this domain were ICICI Bank, L&T Hydrocarbon, Lindstrom, Trident, Vedanta Plc., etc. Sectors Consulting sector emerged as one of the biggest recruiters with about 22% of the students bagging exciting opportunities in some of the most prestigious organizations. BFSI followed the lead with 18% of the offer being made in this sector. IT/ITES and Manufacturing closely followed the suit with 16% of offers in each respective sectors.
