2 Kaspersky seminar held in India s business capital A day long seminar on Kaspersky s network security solutions was organized on 14 th August, 2007 in Mumbai, India by Zoom Technologies (India) P. Ltd. The venue was the spectacular five-star Hilton Towers overlooking the Arabian sea. It was an exclusive, by-invitation only seminar for all the top names in the Indian industry. The morning session was specially conceived for corporates and was a grand success. It was well attended by the IT managers and decision makers of various companies. Mr. M.H. Noble, C.E.O. Zoom Technologies giving welcome note. Mr Alexey Gromyko from Kaspersky labs, Moscow, set the tone of the meet with his keynote address on Kaspersky s range of solutions for antivirus and network security. His talk was well received by the audience, especially the comparison charts with other products which were quite impressive. 3 He was followed by Mr Ralf Labeda VP Sales & Marketing form Clavister, Sweden, who spoke about how Kaspersky antivirus is integrated with the Clavister line of security products. Kaspersky is a key component of the UTM functionality of Clavister firewalls. This was succeeded by a practical demonstration of Ethical Hacking techniques by Zoom Experts This live presentation effectively showed how easy it is to penetrate an unprotected network and how Kaspersky can be used to guard against spyware, malware, trojans and worms. Mr. Ralf Labeda V.P. Sales & Marketing, Clavister (Sweden) giving a presantation. The post lunch session was reserved for the resellers and dealers of Kaspersky in India. Various strategies and plans were discussed to increase Kaspersky s share in the antivirus market and to further penetrate the retail sector in India.
