1 General Introduction The world of agriculture represents a stressful environment with long working days, and hard labour. At SEGES, we produce articles on a daily basis containing news, research, and regulations within all subareas of agriculture that are being read and used by more than 50,000 people every month. We plan on launching a podcasting service to support and expand the utility of the content provided by the specialists at SEGES. By remediating the content and distributing it through this application, we hope to boost the usability of the existing product and form a solution that helps to adapt the product so that it fits the daily life of farmers. The podcasts we will be producing are divided into two separate "shows" (some long and others short), which will have to be segregated in some areas of application and interconnected in others. This job concerns the development of the first version of the podcast application enabling us to upload and launch episodes via RSS feeds. For a start, we will focus on developing for android. Later on we expect to develop an IOS version, and possibly a community between the users, so that the viewing of other profiles with similar fields of interest will lead to discovering new episodes through a shared curiosity.

3 Home screen When launching the application, this is the first page that will be shown. This contains lists of the latest episodes published, and can be filtered in three ways. personlige nyheds podcast ( personal news podcast), Alle nyheds podcast ( All news podcast) and Lange podcast (Long podcasts). The Home screen will always be displaying alle nyheds podcasts when launching the application. The player in the top half of the screen is will randomize and highlight a new episode each time the user launches the application. The highlighted episode will be marked with: [episode number] and title. In the top right corner, the user can access their profile page. This function is present on all subpages. (The functions and content of the profile page will be defined later in this document) Top left corner is marked with logos and titles (Pressing the logo on any page will return the user to the home screen). Beneath the logo, there will be a menu button, for easy navigating through the application. (The content of the menu will be described later in the document) The bottom half of the home screen is as mentioned above, lists of podcast episodes arranged in 3 categories. The user can click through the listings by tapping the titles of listings. Blue (R78; G128; B141), marking the selected list, and the two non-selected marked with green (R124; G152; B119)) Alle nyheds podcast (all news podcast) This list will display all the latest episodes published; no matter what subject or type of agriculture it is made for. Episodes listed in this section are approximately 10-15mins long. Lange Podcast ( Long Podcast) - The long podcast is another type of podcasts which is not completely based on existing articles, but focusses on a larger topic and therefore should be separated from the news podcast section. Episodes listed in this section are approximately 40+ mins long. Personlige nyheds podcast (personal news podcasts) episodes displayed in this section is podcasts that match each individual users tags. These tags have to be selected in the subpage emneord which I will define later in the document. The episodes listed within this catalogue is episodes filtered from the podcasts based on news, and only displays episodes that match the users field of interest. These tags are visualized under the title of each episode.

4 Selecting/playing an episode on the home screen Whenever a user selects an episode on the home screen, each individual box containing an episode expands when pressed. The box gives a brief indication of the content of the episode, and provides the user with the opportunity to mark an episode as favourite or ad to his/her listen later lists (discussed later in this document). The Introduction text should fill no more than 4 lines of text. When pressing either the Favorit (favourite) or Hør senere (listen later), changes the colour of the button (R:78 G:128 B:141 to R:7 G:100 B:113), but the user will not be directed to another page by performing any of these actions. Pressing play on any podcast will enable a media player in the bottom Figure 1 Figure 2 of the screen (see figure 2). Pressing play does not require the user to enter the information box first. Key features of the media player are the play/pause button and the ability to jump either forward or back in the episode by 30 seconds. Pausing an episode can also be done on the pause button next to the episode title in the lists. Pressing play on another episode will automatically stop and save the progress on the previously listened episode. Timeline The media player should also contain a timeline displaying the duration and progress of a running episode. Tags in episode title: The tag that match an episode, is visualized under the title on any sub-page within the application. Each episode can match up to 4 tags.

5 Interest tags Page Title: Mine Emneord (My tags) It is important that the user is able to pick topics he find interesting and exclude others, since the episodes will be covering the 29 topics of agriculture defined on the webpage Landbrugsinfo.dk. When SEGES produces a new content it is marked with these tags, so that we can direct the content towards the right audience. These tags have to be included within the content of this application as well. These are the tags that define the content of the Personlige nyheds podcast (personal news podcast) section on the home screen of the application. Multiple tags can be chosen. The page is accessed through the menu, located under the SEGES logo in the top left corner. There is two buttons in the bottom right corner. Hvad er Emneord? (What are these tags?). Where are short text will appear on screen, telling the user how tagging works and why they should use it. The same text box is shown in pressing the? next to the title of this page. Gem ændringer (Save changes). The user is able to save his/her changes in tags when selecting or removing tags.

6 Saved Episodes Page Title: Mine Lister (My lists) When marking an episode either as favorit (favorited) or as hør senere (Listen Later), they will appear on these subpage. The functions of this page is basically the same as the home screen, but just containing content the user picked him/herself. When landing on this page the two categories are mixed in one listing, but the difference is still highlighted by colours. When listen like this, the episodes are listed in chronological order of time added by the user. Hør senere (Listen later): Episodes marked as hør senere will appear in different shades of green. Favoritter (favorited) Episodes marked as Favoritter will appear in different shades of blue. Selecting lists The two buttons below the title allows the user to select between the two lists. Pressing one of the buttons presents the user with the list concerning that category. The episodes are still listed in chronological order of time added by the user. Selecting an episode will present the user with the same small box of information as mentioned on the home screen.swapping between the hør senere and favoritter is done by pressing the small rectangular box with the opposite color of the current location. (located just under the title). If the user wants to return to the original list with mixed episodes from both hør senere and favoritter, they can press the Title text Mine Lister.

7 Discover Page Title: Find nyt afsnit (Discover new episode) The purpose of this page is to allow the user to discover episodes by selecting topics, and duration and then be presented with an episode that matches at least two of the chosen tags. Selecting tags on this page does not affect the personalization tags selected on the page Mine emneord, but only this specific search. The tags of this page match the ones used to personalize the news podcast, for the sense of familiarity. Furthermore the user is able to select whether they are looking for a long or a short episode. This selection is done by pressing the buttons marked Kort episode (short) or lang episode (long). When all this is selected they press søg (search) and is presented with an episode matching their requirements. If the episode is not of interest, they can press the søg button once again and a random new episode will be presented to the user. When presented with an episode the user can press play or respectively add to the favoritter or Hør senere lists mentioned on previous page. Pressing play on an episode will start enable the media player in the bottom of the screen, mentioned on previously in the document.

8 Settings Page Title: indstillinger (Settings) The content of the setting page, is not yet determined, but will most likely have most of the actions visualized in this mockup. - app start indstillinger (App Launch settings) - Offline indstillinger (Offline Settings) - Notificationer (Notifications) - Vibrationer ( Vibration settings) - Personlig indstillinger ( Profile settings) - Fællesskab ( community) - brugere (Users) The two buttons in the bottom of the screen allows the user to contact SEGES and enter a FAQ page. The Kontakt SEGES button provides the user with lists and phone numbers to the it-service at SEGES. The hjælp button navigates the user to a webpage containing the FAQ s of the application and podcasting service. Further information about the content on this page will be defined later in the process of development.

9 User Setting Page Title: Min Profil (My profile) This page acts most of all as an page providing information about the account currently in use. The page will display - Profile picture - Name of the current user - ( If using the same login information as used on landbrugsinfo.dk) Bellow the personal information, there are button to navigate the user to the mine Lister (My lists) page. The bottom half of the screen displays the personal tags chosen by the user. These are not editable on this page, but only display the ones that are currently selected. Getting access to the tagging page can be achieved by pressing the button above the list of Mine Emneord (tags). This page can be accessed on any of the other pages, by clicking the icon in the top right corner. Pressing the icon again, while on this site, sends the user back to whatever page he/she was one previously.

10 Menu Page Title: None (present on all pages) The menu is available from all pages, if pressing the menu button beneath the SEGES logo in the top left corner. This menu provides easy access and navigation between all the main pages of the application and will act at the primary navigation tool. When activated, the menu fills up entire left side of the screen, but does not cover the media player in the bottom, if a podcast I being played. Tapping anywhere outside the menu or pressing the menu option will close it, and leave the user at the present page. Selecting a new page, will close the menu in the process, and the user will have to press the menu icon again to show the menu.
