Very versatile warehouse usage due to a large range of different sizes. 14/6 series made from plastic is compatible with the 14/6 series steel containers and with 14/7 series made of steel and plastic. Full-height walls enable maximum storage potential. The strong stacking rim and base edge means that it can be securely stacked during in-plant and external transport. They have succeeded in combining the best of the many different innovations from the last few years and created a state of the art container. For example, hollow wall technology has been used to give the container exceptional stability. In version with the vibration welded base (VS), loads up to 70 kg are possible. Naturally the container is suitable for conveyor technology and automatic handling systems. These are used as special containers for material flow conforming to the VDA standard in the car industry, for component transport between car manufacturers and tiered suppliers. KLT containers are especially suitable for: automated parts picking from the container and positioning of empty stacks, horizontal and vertical handling by means of KLT grooves and slots, gripping technology facilitated by 2 grooves on the longitudinal sides, use in mini-load systems, thanks to grip grooves on front and sides. Equipped with active safety lock and ergonomically shaped handles, this folding box generation can be folded up quickly and securely as the user sees fit. This achieves a volume reduction of around 80 %. ECOtech is intended for all mini-load applications and conveyor technology and can be fully automated. Each container is fitted with an insert in order to achieve optimum transport and storage conditions. This insert is customised to match the contours of the packaged goods. As a result, items are protected against possible damage. Inserts come in a choice of vacuumformed, foam or fabricated sets. We will be happy to advise you regarding the options that are available and create layouts, drawings or samples. By using bespoke inserts it is possible to produce a universal packaging design that is suitable for many different shaped items that only need to be centred rather than fixed. The insert components are modular and divide the container into sections. This reduces packaging costs but still offers a tailored solution. Materials and designs: Bespoke inserts can be manufactured in almost any shape and from almost any material. Alternatives include foam dividers, routed foam inserts or corrugated cardboard. The materials are also available in antistatic or ESD-protected versions. 95 Special solutions made from plastic Fabricated inserts As well as their applications in manual handling, the fabricated inserts are ideal for customers who have a high degree of automation in place. They are used primarily in production sites with automatic parts picking and in material flow systems in industries supplying the automobile sector. The custom containers are produced based on the container system KLT conforming to the VDA standard. It provides a protective housing for workpieces and is used both for orderly provision in production and as a protective container for handling and transport. Fabricated insert with extruded centring points Fabricated inserts A special feature of the fabricated insert is that the container and inlay form one unit. The key feature is the centring unit modified for the exact contours of the customised product. The advantages of the special containers are: Maximum positioning accuracy of the products; avoids transport and storage damage; saves the costs of single-use packaging and missing parts are detected at a glance. Lifting slots and centring holes support the horizontal and vertical grips with automatic devices and robots. The products are either too large or too small. In normal applications, welded containers offer the same load capacity as standard containers. The stability of the weld seam is approx. 90 % of the container s original material strength. This also applies when using ESD materials. Despite the weld seam, the container offers the same functions in terms of stability, stackability, durability and for use in automated systems.
