11 Discussion HÅG has worked with environmental improvement of their products for several years. HÅG has an extremely good basis for deciding what materials, processes and suppliers to focus on. HÅG s aim was to incorporate this environmental knowledge into the design phase of new seating solutions. Still: The environmental impact of the Alpha G4 equals the existing office chairs. Ergonomics Aesthetics Quality Environment
12 Conclusion Environmental issues should have continuous focus. Internal cooperation in an integrated development process (concurrent engineering) is essential. The project has been a good learning process. Also: Materials with a high potential for recycling are used. Choosing the right suppliers can improve the environmental profile.
