3 The fully upholstered collection delivers an aesthetically satisfying chair that provides a superior level of comfort owing to its ergonomic design and use of CMHR foam throughout. The distinctive combination of precision engineering and fl exible control, makes App an intuitive chair that features easy to reach adjustable levers with highly visible graphics. This enables the user to lock the synchronised mechanism in up to fi ve positions. The range is complemented by an accompanying cashier and a visitor chair.

4 APP The visitor chair neatly stacks four high with a moulded stacking buffer to create a stable and secure angle. Available with a grey or black painted cantilever frame as standard, App may be specifi ed with or without arms and features a plywood mono-shell construction for maximum support and fl exibility. The App visitor chair is also ideally suited to conference and meeting room environments owing to its high level of comfort yet slim-line design.

6 INTUITIVE DESIGN App has been designed with longevity and durability in mind. The design incorporates an ergonomically designed seat and back and a range of adjustments to ensure the most comfortable of sits for all users. The contoured seat and back design coupled with the use of moulded CMHR foam, makes App a highly comfortable and visually appealing chair. The innovative synchronised mechanism provides the user with complete control across its range of adjustments.

9 HOW TO USE YOUR APP CHAIR 1 Back Height Reach around the right hand side of the back of the chair to locate the grey button. This is located at the base of the curve of the back. Press the button and use both hands (either side of the back) to raise and lower the back of the chair. Pull up until the pronounced lumbar support of the chair is aligned with your own lumbar region, which is just below your waist. The back will stop in any one of fi ve positions when the button is released. 2 Tension Control To adjust the tension to suit your own weight, pull out the knob under the right hand side of the seat and grasping it with an over-hand grip. Rotate it forwards to increase the tension and back to decrease the tension. 3 Back Tilt/Lock 6 The back can be used in either a free fl oat or a locked position. To lock the back in any one of 3 positions press the lever down which is located on the left hand side of the chair. To unlock the back and return to a free fl oat position, lift the same lever up. 4 Seat Height Lift the paddle located under the right hand side of your seat (behind the tension wheel), whilst lifting your weight out of the chair to allow the seat to raise to desired height. To lower the height, lift the paddle again leaving your body weight on the seat. 5 Seat Slide The button is located underneath the right hand side of the seat. Reach below the seat with your right hand to press the button. Keep your weight on the seat pad and move forward. Release the button to lock the seat. If you push the button and take your weight off the seat it will return to the rear position. 6 Arm Height Lift the buttons on the outside of the arm risers to raise and lower the arms. Ensure that both arm pads are the same height. App is tested to: BS EN : parts 1, 2 and 3 BS EN 5459

11 ENVIRONMENTAL DATA App Environmental data We are passionate about caring for the environment. The App range has been designed with the needs of the environment in mind. The App collection minimises any negative effect on the environment. During its life, components such as the upholstery and arms can be easily removed and replaced if required. At the end of its life App can simply be disassembled so that each component may be appropriately recycled. The App mesh-back polyester material is 100% recyclable at the end of its life. All products are manufactured to the highest possible quality and environmental standards. Transport - We have in place a logistics policy which aims to reduce energy consumption and emissions across our fl eet of vehicles. Product Use - We design products for their users but with the environment in mind. All products are certifi ed to the highest possible UK and European standards and individually assessed to establish their level of emissions and recycled content and recyclability. End of Life - We develop products that can easily be disassembled for the purpose of extending their product life, future re-use or end of life recyclability.
