4 History 1897 Second World War the Schwartzkopff company established a locomotive works a works school was founded and became an integral part of mechanical engineering in the region the company was involved in armament production and was nearly destroyed after the war foundation of the UAS Wildau around 1900 today after

Bachelor's Degree European Management Degree Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Duration 6 semesters 3 years At a glance Graduates gain knowledge and skills for middle management concerning European economic, business, legal and social structures. In addition to this, the course qualifies and trains students in the leadership of personnel at middle management level. Furthermore the successful completion of this programme gives graduates the possibility to enter into a business master s degree programme. 20

Bachelor s Degree European Management Overall Goal - Mission The educational goal of the Bachelor s Degree Programme in European Management is to provide expertise in European economic, business, legal and social structures in connection with management skills, foreign language abilities and crosscultural competency. Professional prospects for middle management production and service-oriented companies in the private sector, management consultancies, local, regional or state authorities, enterprises as well as associations and unions. 21
