Students who are studying in the field of business studies at one of our partner universities and come to University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer for at least one semester as exchange students Requirements: Sufficient knowledge of German in writing and speaking Driving licence

11 The Orientation Programme in fall and in spring semester! ORIENTATION PROGRAMME including German hours intensive and Bridging Course English Fachbereich Wirtschaft three weeks before lecture start in fall and in spring semester Together with the other foreign students you will get to know Emden, the surrounding area and nearby cities like Oldenburg and Bremen. You will also visit local museums, take city tours, and of course, see the many pubs and enjoy the nightlife in this student city. (registration fee registration appr. 45 )

13 Registration For the use of the cafeteria, the mensa and the maintenance of the halls of residence and for the work of the student s union (AStA), the students are required to pay a social fee of appr. 233,99 (academic year 2015/16 Emden) per semester before registering (no tuition fee). With registering at the University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer, every student gets a Semesterticket. The Semesterticket allows students to use busses and trains for free in a fixed area.
