2 II. Detailed information 1. Module aim (aims) Students to acquire the basic principles and institutions of church law understood as canon law, the internal law of the Catholic Church. The student also learns the internal organization of the Catholic Church as well as the basic legal acts regulating it. 2. Pre-requisites in terms of knowledge, skills and social competences (where relevant) Prerequisites are knowledge of the following: basic knowledge of social and political history, basic knowledge of religious law and Roman law, the history of state and law, the history of political ideas or general orientation in the history of civilization. There are no specific requirements in terms of skills and social competence. 3. Module learning outcomes in terms of knowledge, skills and social competences and their reference to programme learning outcomes Learning outcomes symbol* PKO_01 PKO_04 PKO_05 Upon completion of the course, the student will: Understands the difference between the religious law and the cannon law and ecclesial law. Sources familiar with canon law and canon, their evolution and role in shaping the European legal tradition. Able to define the goals of the church, shaping certain standards, and is able to distinguish between kinds and types of ecclesiastical law, both in the source and the body representing them It can analyze the applicable law for the phenomenon of the "canonization" as well as able to point to the right of secular institutions that are either directly or indirectly taken from church law. It has a basic knowledge of the so-called. administrative ecclesiastical law, as well as the role and place of the Holy See and its subordinate bodies in charge of the Catholic Church. Versed in both the genesis and the present system of administration of the church, and the powers of individual ministers. He knows the rules and identifies the source of both the church to the Code of Canon Law (CIC) and in the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
