6 10 11 Available Workflow Packages Hyper-Converged The extensive library of workflows created by Proact spans all areas of IT infrastructure management covering the following areas and many more. Custom workflows can be combined to include replication, backup and DR provision depending on the data protection policies required for the new virtual infrastructure. Backup workflows are often used by other workflows. 7 12 13 Professional Services and Assessment Services Depending on the deployment option chosen will depend on what services are required, as a guide the list of Phases below shows a typical deployment work package: Phase 1 Assessment Proact s approach to these project is to always start with an assessment of the current VMWare environment. By utilising our VMware Optimisation Assessment, we can get a really good understanding of the current landscape, its utilisation, growth, and any configuration challenges we re likely to face when we embark on delivering the full service. By getting the environment in a good running state prior to any of this work saves a huge amount of time troubleshooting issues later on. Phase 4 Deploy in test environment Proact will deploy vrealize Automation & vrealize Orchestrator a test environment, tasks include: Installation and configuration of VMware vrealize Automation & Orchestrator Verification and documentation of the environment Deploy a selection of workflow packages and test integration with customer systems We do this assessment utilising VMWare vrealise Operations Manager which we run on the environment typically for 1 month. We can commence the next Phase while this is collecting data in the background. Phase 5 Knowledge transfer Proact will provide a one-day training workshop for up to five (5) people on the VMware vrealize Automation platform, deployment procedure, and system capabilities. This will also function as a lessons learned session to improve the implementation of the production environment. Phase 2 Requirements gathering Like all successful projects planning from the outset is key.
